We were visiting Durant for medical and decided to eat afterwards. Seeking a family local diner we found Bob's. The place isn't much to look at on the outside but the food will surprise you. I really like seeking out local diner's for their chicken fried steaks. Bob's was a surprise. The steak was tender with a great batter served with real mashed potatoes and cream gravy. Sides of okra with butter toast. Service was quick and the waitress very friendly while answering questions about the menu. It would be a mistake to miss the place if you like home cooked style dinning.

This is the Cafe in the Choctaw Casino in Durant. Nice alternative to the buffet or the steakhouse, and you can get anything from a full meal to sandwiches, to salads, to breakfast.My wife had seafood pasta, - linguine with shrimp, salmon, and mahi-mahi, it was well seasoned, well cooked, presented nicely. I had Chefs Salad, nothing extraordinary about it, but it was very good, all the veggies fresh. Both also served with garlic breadstick-roll, very tasty. Two meals came to $25 before tax/tip.Server Mercedes and rest of staff very friendly, took good care of us.
