Reviews on Diner food in Dresden, Saxony, Germany. On the banks of the lovely Elbe River, the German city of Dresden is lush and green, filled with forests and gardens and parks. The city is rich with cultural and artistic history; the great operatic composer Wilhelm Wagner debuted a number of works here in the 1800s and, today, an independent light opera company keeps the classical art form modern and fresh. Culture vultures will love the Gemäldegalerie Alte Meister and Grünes Gewölbe museums, and architecture buffs will salivate over the mélange of styles reflected in the cityscape.

The restaurant is in a basement which offers an unique atmosphere. The servers spoke English plus had menus in English. Compared to the giant portions you receive in the United States, the portions were small but the right amount. We throughly enjoyed each course. Dear M9286PVbriant,thank you very much for your kind review on tripadvisor. You are right, that our restaurant is located in a basement, service is english speaking and also our menus are translated into english. However the dishes shown in the pictures you uploaded are not served in our restaurant. Maybe you mixed sth up? We would be truely happy, if you could change the pictures. Save travels and all the best, Marcus & Nicole Blonkowski
