Very friendly staff and good service. The food is well-prepared and the menu has a lot of options. I would give it five stars except for the portion size: the skillet breakfast could feed three people, and it is actually gross and wasteful.

Used to go their often when it was the Dexter Coney but it's had a complete makeover and we were not impressed. Complete menu change, substantial increase in prices and terrible service. We have no plans to return.
Dexter Creamery is a Gourmet Frozen Yogurt and Artisan Ice Pop shop in the heart of downtown Dexter Michigan. Situated in the historic downtown district we serve 15 flavors of Frozen Yogurt, Gelato or Soft Serve. We have options for dairy free, nut free,
Rolling through on our way to the lake, my daughter spied this shop on Main St. On our way back, I was looking for it on TripAdvisor to no avail. . Yes, the Dairy Queen in town was listed, but we love to find hidden treasure. We found a place to park (ample around the town) and strolled in. Old-fashioned look to the interior with modern yogurt dispensary in the rear. We were warmly greeted and asked if we'd visited before. We got the speedy tour of the multiple (yummy) flavors, the methods for purchase (cones and three cup sizes) and then the HUGE number of toppings. My grandkids were delighted and selected their favorites readily. Cones are one price and cups are per ounce up to a maximum per cup size (I liked that idea). We settled for cones and ate them at a table. Everyone liked the flavor(s) and toppings they had chosen. On pricing, I considered what we'd have paid for similar 'elsewhere' and was satisfied. They don't have a 'kiddie' cone, so sharing for very small kids is in order. On our future trips to the area, no doubt we'll get cheers from those wanting to stop. I'm an old softie after all....
