For a quick bite this was the solution...it will take you 20 min to read the menu they have everything...dinner for breakfast and breakfast for dinner....sandwiches to pot roast...even a milk shake....I love the eggs Benedict and my husband loves pancakes they make everything the best...the service is good and the food tasty And the price is perfect...Youâll love the retro look inside....

We go to Lucky's at least once a month, sometimes more. The salads are the best we've had in Stamford, and the burgers are great. Lots of variety with the burgers--beef, salmon, veggie, Kobe beef, etc. Service is friendly and timely; outdoor eating area is wonderful in the summer months. Great place to go when the grandchildren visit.

Although we live in Darien, this was our first visit to Driftwood Diner (for breakfast) and we'll be back. Our own experience was very good -- an attentive and friendly server, good breakfast choices, and a nice modern, clean decor. We weren't hurried and the noise level was low so it was possible to converse easily. (It was busy but not packed.) Darien Diner is nearby and not bad, but I think I prefer Driftwood. As other reviewers have observed, Driftwood does not have a "diner" feel.

One of the best places in Darien. Have the catalina sandwich. Its the craziest combination of foods. This delicious oath type bread that has grilled chicken, brie cheese ,apples and bacon. On the side there is a dipping sauce that I think is sour cream mixed with honey but I can't say so for sure. All the specials are good. Service is super friendly and the prices are right!

An institution in Darien. A classic breakfast and lunch diner. Almost American Gothic decor with plastic chairs and faux wood tables. The food is good. Eggs and breakfast staples are the specialty. Service is friendly. A locals hang out. A plethora of seasonal decorations cover the ceiling.

Had a few hours to kill before a business meeting so my partners and I stopped here. Very comfortable and staff were polite. Try the spinach and feta omelet, itâs amazing! Highly recommend as a place for a quick meal
