Loved all of our food, except the clam fritters (not many clams). The clear broth clam chowder was delicious! Loved the fish 'n chips. The biscuits and sausage gravy had a bit of an Italian flavoring and was really good. Great home fries and eggs. Very friendly service and easy parking.

Before I fully explain what happened I would like the owner of the diner to contact me. I am very upset with how I was treated today. And I want to talk to the owner. Because the manager and waitstaff was very rude.

Loved this place for years went there many times when I worked in the area and we still make a point to stop in when we travel on route 6.12/6/2016 we ordered toast eggs home fries on the grill .Sadly the eggs were cold and runny the home fries a disaster that should not have been served to anyone. Happy to say the toast were hot and coffee tasty.

Step back in time at this eclectic train-car diner in the center of East Greenwich, RI. Eat in a booth or at the counter. The breakfast menu is astounding....almost too much to think about early in the morning. But take your time with it, there are lots of choices, from eggs to omelettes to sandwiches to Johnnycakes and everything in between. Diners can 'mix and match' their sides too, from traditional homefries to grits, fruit or really good corned beef hash. Eggs were fluffy; ham was traditional; potatoes were delicious. And they have Italian bread toast, which I've only found in one other Italian-American enclave...Waterbury, Connecticut. So check this place out. It's worth the wait on a Sunday morning or any morning. And try to meet the owner, she's wonderful.
