Family owned and operated restaurant serving breakfast and lunch in davie florida since 1986. Serving breakfast all day at the same low prices.
Small diner styled restaurant had heard great things about. I was disappointed that it wasnt more home cooking. The speacils were wrirtten on the blackboard so I assumed it was home type cooking. I think its more prepared not from scratch cooking at least what my group ordered. It was clean service was quick sorta friendly but food came timely and what was ordered. The place was busy seemed like regular patrons that everyone knew everyone.

Too crowded and noisy this Sunday morning. Slow service. No background music. Ten minute wait for a table. Hectic place. You don't come here for a relaxing meal. I ordered the veggie eggwhite omelet. I paid extra to have cheese added. The meal came with toast and hash browns. The food was above average. The omelet itself was of good size.

We were not as happy with our lunch as most of the other reviewers were.PROs:Good service.Clean facilities. The Nova Platter was very good and appropriately sized.Coffee was okay with no charge for refills. CONs:The âlargeâ Horiatiki Salad arrived on two huge plates. One large round plate on top of a huge heavy square plate. The plates were the only things âlargeâ. The round plate would have been more than sufficient because the portion size was not generous. The salad was mostly tomato chunks. A few random olives. Four slices of cucumbers. And other elements. The feta cheese was so sparse that I asked the server for additional cheese, which she promptly brought me.HELPFUL:We considered ordering a slice of cake for desert but the server warned us that one slice was good for five or six servings and cost $6.50 a slice. We appreciated her warning and passed on the cake.CONCLUSION:The Flashback Diner did bring back memories of old style diners. However, the food did not. We wonât be returning any time soon, if ever.
