At Eggsmart, customers have a wide range of breakfast or lunch choices that are prepared from quality ingredients and served hot and fast. Interested in more than just a traditional breakfast? Eggsmart's your smart choice. Eggsmart is all about great food
This place has breakfast and many choices from omelettes to pancakes to waffles to bacon and eggs and eggs benny. It is not fancy, and generally quick, although I have experienced variability in time it takes to receive food recently. A regular breakfast stop. Recommended.

Had breakfast at this restaurant based on other reviews but was very disappointed. I had the two EGs with ham breakfast and the ham was bizzare. Strange texture and colour that must have come from a can. Potatoes were greasy and had over cooked onions including some onion skin. The place was not especially clean and the service was sullen. We were not surprised when we left to see the waitress buying her lunch next door.

This restaurant has been on Hume Street in Collingwood for as long as I remember. It's within easy walking distance of the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital, as well as across the street from a little strip mall which has an optometrist and a pharmacy in it.Hume Street, when you are driving west into Collingwood, is where you will see the landmark, the town's water tower. On your right, just past the two streets which will lead you to the hospital...and just before the Hanna Ford dealership....you will see the Georgian Family Restaurant. We have been there a number of times and in the years we have been here we have watched this restaurant expand. Yes, it is popular. This restaurant has a down-to-earth menu which features breakfast, lunch and dinner choices. The prices are reasonable and seating ranges from booth-type seating alongside windows, to tables and chairs across the central part of the restaurant. We stopped in for a lunch after church and the Georgian Family Restaurant was very busy, as we expected it to be. We found a booth and the waitress came and cleared the table. My wife ordered coffees for us. When the server came back with the coffees, I ordered a toasted western for my wife and a Georgian Special hamburger with fries for me. The total bill was $22.00.The servers are busy, but they did find time to refill coffees and ask that all was well. All was well and I would rate this restaurant as average. The food was fine. But the servers are probably too busy with patrons and are losing their cheerful service edge. By that I mean, they enquire about things, but do they really mean it? A little more from-the-heart would go a long way to upping my marking from average to excellent.Previous reviews prove my point. About half like this restaurant and about half have a problem with it. All comments involve service problems, not the food.True, we waited for coffee refills. True, our milk for the coffee was slow getting to the table. But those things can be rectified with a refocus and a pep talk. The customers are the lifeblood of any business! This restaurant is good for Greek food, although we did not have it this time.We shall return to see if things have perked up service-wise because my wife things the servers are terrific. She noted that there was a help-wanted sign in the window.
