We stopped into this diner for breakfast while visiting the area. It was early and not a lot of patrons. Our waitress took our order, but when it came out my bacon was burned as was my husbands hash. Also, we had to ask for my bacon and his pancake that she didn't bring originally. Our meal wasn't anything to write home about. Pretty average. Service was less than average. We had to flag down our waitress to get coffee refills. We could understand if the place was busy, but that wasn't the case. There is definitely room for improvement.

Mardee's is a favorite spot for the residents of Clarence Center. We travel 20 miles every few weeks to have breakfast there. The food is down-home and tasty. Serves only breakfast and lunch. And I believe dinner on Fridays only. Everyone is always friendly. The waitresses pretty much know all the customers, but they are always warm and welcoming to "out-of-towners". Service is great. The coffee cup is always kept full.

Stopped in on a rainy Sunday for lunch. Friendly staff and typical country diner decor. The chicken cordon blue was okay but a little dull. The chicken ala King needed spice. Cheap place to eat.

We went to Buffalo Joe's for breakfast and enjoyed it. The omelettes and skillet dishes looked delicious. We went with pancakes and they were large but heavy. Everything could have been a lot hotter than it was too; it seemed like everything had been sitting on the counter a while. We would try it again, however, based on how good the other breakfasts looked.
