Find out what Diner restaurants to try in Chattanooga. The name "Chattanooga" comes from the Creek Indian word for "rock coming to a point." This refers to Lookout Mountain, one of the city's major attractions. Here visitors can explore extraordinary rock formations, see a roaring enclosed waterfall and travel by train to the top of the mountain for truly awesome vistas. Back down on the ground, don't miss the world's largest freshwater aquarium, the Tennessee Aquarium. History enthusiasts will love the city's museums dedicated to Civil War, Native American and 20th-century history. More than anything, Chattanooga is a scenic city, full of natural wonders waiting to be explored by foot, car, bike or train.

This cafe was suggested by a friend we were visiting and it did not disappoint. Cute diner atmosphere and oldies music. Service was prompt and friendly. The menu was EXTENSIVE! Cakes and pies, in display cases, were out of this world. Servings were large and delicious. Restrooms clean. Enjoy!

Innside Restaurant has been in downtown Chattanooga for quite some time but somehow I had never been until recently. Possibly because they are only open during the week and until recently I had not worked downtown. It is located in the west village area but it is in an older office building and not in one of the newer renovated developments. There is on street metered parking all around as well as multiple parking garages or lots. I went during lunch and was lucky to snag a seat at the bar. Despite rain outside there was a wait for tables. Service was extremely friendly and the food came out quick. Everything tasted good and was also priced well. I had a great first experience at Innside Restaurant and look forward to returning.
