Ok. They earned a 5 in my book. Iâm rating it on diners.First, the omelette selection is extraordinary. Itâs not a half-a$$ed offering. Imaginative and quite filling.Iâm not an omelette guy, but holy cow, these are delicious with mega variety. Iâm an âAmyâs Omelette Houseâguy now.I had the chili dog omelette. Large Sausages and cheese folded in the omelette and Chili on top. It was a real meal. Home fries were done right, they were mixed with onions and peppers. Man, it was G-O-O-D !!Wife had the pancakes and eggs with sausage and bacon. Bacon was cooked very good, sausage good, eggs and pancakes good. The sausage is impressive, not wimpy littles ones.Interior of diner is a flashback to the past, plenty of tables and counter service as well. Place is very clean, owner does a great job keeping the place clean and maintained. They decorate for the different holidays and have nik nacks around adding a little nostalgia and character. Oh, the staff and manager were topsDefinitely going back with the rest of my family

Been here before stop if client nearby or have extra time. Today I got coffee and a toasted corn muffin. Sat at the counter clean and quiet with prompt service. Place is convenient and has adequate parking. My waitress was friendly and efficient and kept the coffee coming. Food has been good every time I've been here, don't understand really bad reviews. This is a typical NJ diner.
Where to eat American food in Burlington: The Best Restaurants and Bars
This location is actually in Beverly, NJ . . . Their menu says Edgewater Park, NJ though. As soon as we arrived at 11:00 AM, I thought that the breakfast rush would have calmed down. I was so wrong. It was very busy, but our wait for a 2-person table wasn't too bad. We got our table and it was covered with creamer and syrup from the last patrons thrown across the edge of the table. My side of the booth was covered in crumbs, that I crunched on and touched while sliding in, because I didn't notice them/expect them. My friend's side of the booth was wet. We were given two beat up menus and a server that rushed us came over to take our drink order. When she brought back the drinks, which she got literally about a yard away from us, she asked for our order . . . We hadn't even had the menu for 2 minutes. I had never been here before. My friend ordered a turkey wrap and I ordered chicken fingers and fries. My friend had no complaint about hers. Mine, however, had lettuce covered on the bottom of the plate. The chicken fingers didn't seem cooked all the way. They had fat through two of them that I would bite down and feel/taste and couldn't eat it. The big steak fries were just okay. It wasn't enjoyable at all and I received 4 chicken fingers and maybe 15 fries. It wasn't worth $9.99 . Wouldn't go back ever again.

Went to Golden Eagle today for breakfast. A real diner no doubt. Lots of locals eating there, a good sign. The waitress was very pleasant as was the rest of the staff. The breakfast was great, eggs, home fries, scrapple and a biscuit. Very good. No complaints.

The place is nice and the service was good. Only con - parking lot not very big - always full. They have the standard diner fare. Portions were average to small. However, their "Country Fried Steak" is the best I've ever had-and believe you me - I have tried all them all across the eastern seaboard. It will be one of our go-to diners for breakfast out. Highly recommend it - nice place.
