Find out what Diner restaurants to try in Briarcliff Manor. Briarcliff Manor /ˈbraɪərklɪf/ is a suburban village in Westchester County, New York, around 30 miles (50 km) north of New York City. It is on 5.9 square miles (15 km) of land on the east bank of the Hudson River, geographically shared by the towns of Mount Pleasant and Ossining. Briarcliff Manor includes the communities of Scarborough and Chilmark, and is served by the Scarborough station of the Metro-North Railroad's Hudson Line. A section of the village, including buildings and homes covering 376 acres (152 ha), is part of the Scarborough Historic District and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. The village motto is "A Village between Two Rivers", reflecting Briarcliff Manor's location between the Hudson and Pocantico Rivers. Although the Pocantico is the primary boundary between Mount Pleasant and Ossining, since its incorporation the village has spread into Mount Pleasant.

We stumbled upon the Landmark Diner for dinner tonight while traveling in the area. Sometimes you get more than you expect. We expected a diner, we got a diner. The food was good, the server was fine. But nothing special happened. We ate!

DDâs calls itself a diner. The building was once a diner that had been empty for years. However this is much more upscale than the average diner. Imaginative menu, talented chef, and prices a bit higher than one might expect from a âdinerâ. Still, worth the prices imho and very much worth a visit.

The food was great. I enjoyed my pancakes and my friends loved their oatmeal and omelets. The diner was clean and the service was fantastic. The ladies refilled our water glasses and coffee cups very quickly. Since my group had not seen each other in a long time we visited for quite awhile. We never felt rushed to leave the establishment. I would go there again.

My neighbor diner. Used to be frequent visitor and was happy when they finally updated their much needed decor. Menu ok ordinary finer stuff. But comparison to other local diners their prices are ridiculous. So I only visit when too lazy to go out of my wY to pleasantville. This is a great reasonable diner
