Known primarily as the only place in the U.S. that manufactures Corvettes and for the large ancient cavern that sits in the center of the city, Bowling Green has built a thriving tourist business on cars and caves. At the General Motors Corvette Assembly Plant, visitors can see the step-by-step production of America's favorite sports car. The Corvette Museum includes one-of-a-kind prototypes, that were designed but never manufactured, among other Corvette memorabilia. After a tour at the museum we had a late lunch here. The chicken wrap was really tasty and the hamburger prepared well (fully loaded). Most entries are around $8. The drink cups were small for the price but had free self serve refills. When you come in, menus are on a stand, you order at the counter, and get a buzzer. The restaurant format is like an old diner, with a corvette theme. Overall a relaxing and nice stop.

First off, if you're not a local, you stand out the second you walk in the door. LOL The staff were so nice, accommodating and friendly. The coffee surprised us. You normally get what you expect in a small diner, but our coffee was excellent, no bitterness, and very smooth. My wife and daughter loved their food, and most of my food was amazing. My ham steaks were tough, and diffficult to cut with a knife. But my biscuits and gravy, bacon and home fries were delicious. The waitress didn't even hesitate to take the ham off my bill. I didn't even ask for that.

Visited Bowling Green (from Wisconsin) and loved the food and service at Teresa's. Staff was very friendly and went out of the way with service. Food was great and priced very reasonably! All I can say is we really enjoyed it! Go there if you have the chance. Southern hospitality at its finest!!

My husband and I were staying across the street at the Microtel and wanted a quick breakfast before finishing our drive back home. I ordered the cheesy eggs with hash browns, raisin toast and a side of bacon. My husband had the waffle and bacon and ate most of my hash browns. Waitress was cheery and efficient (even when I forgot to ask for unsweetened tea) and the cook fast. Food is always hot and tasty and we were on the road quickly. This particular Waffle House was clean and very busy - a popular local place.
