The restaurant has moved just down the road from where it was. It has a more modern feel and the menu is better.Prices are very fair and portions are very reasonable. There is a discounted menu for seniors over 55.The food was very fresh and there is now a greater emphasis on nutritional value.Staff tried hard

The menu is immense and you can find something for everyone including breakfast served all day. My son ordered a club sandwich - small size as he wanted dessert. He saved have the sandwich and had the cherry pie! I order the small portion of beef tips and ended up taking half with me. Service was quick and the food good. It's a good place to stop!

During our holiday this was the third Dennys that we visited. Driving through Barstow at lunchtime we passed a Dennys and decided to have a bite. A Salted caramel and banana pancake fired up my curiosity, and it was just as good as I imagined. The portion was huge; the two pancakes were as large as a mill wheel, so despite it was delicious I only could eat half of it. My partner had his favorite Club sandwich. Both of us were more than satisfied with our choices and with the service. Thank you Dennys it was a great lunch.

On road trips, we occasionally stop at IHOPs because they generally offer decent affordable breakfasts. Unfortunately, this IHOP, on a Friday around 10:45 AM, provided one of us with a very unpleasant experience. In particular, the relatively crowded restaurant was seriously understaffed; the kitchen was loud and slow; and the food fell well below IHOPâs general standards. One of us usually orders the Classic American Breakfast of Scrambled Eggs, Sausage or Bacon, and Potatoes so this IHOPâs offering was ordered with Link Sausage, Hash Browns (crispy by special request) and a Fruit Bowel in lieu of Toast (no gluten free bread was available). (A photo of the meal is attached for comparison with a number of our other 500+ posted photos depicting similar meals from all over the country.) This IHOPâs classic breakfast compares very poorly with other restaurantsâ breakfast fare. The portions did not cover the plate, the Hash Browns were over cooked and it took OVER 30 minutes for the simple order to arrive. One of the few things that kept one of us here was the decent cup of coffee and coffee pot left at the booth by the overworked waitress. The final dagger in the meal occurred when not one but two patrons separately complained, loudly and over an extended period of time, to the management near my booth about how they had been treated by the staff. I did not see or hear the actual incidents so I have no idea who was at fault; but the loud constant complaining while waiting over 30 minutes for, and then attempting to eat, a poorly cooked meal was very unpleasant. Upon reflection, I should have just paid for my coffee and tried somewhere else. Since I was simply passing through on my way to LA, I thought it would be more efficient to just eat and get back on the interstate (mistake).
