We visited the place for a couple of dinners during our stay by Lake Balaton. The place has a lovely traditional atmosphere, the appearance looks great. The staff were not really friendly, except a very short girl with long dark hair. She was the only friendly person with us and the only person who actually gave us a smile! Thanks to her for that! Otherwise, we were rushed to order and the staff were very inpatient. We were a family group of 8 people speaking 3 different languages, so we needed to translate and etc. The food was good tasty, and nicely presented. We didnât feel welcomed though, because in the end we were given the bill at 10:30 pm before we fully finished eating and we were rushed out by the staff picking up the pillows and commenting âyou should be leaving cause we are closingâ before we managed to finish the wine around 11 pm.As there was no other option close by to our accommodation, we had no other choice but to go here to dinner during our stay, however if there was another place nearby, walking distance, we would have tried other due to the unfriendly staff and manager.

This Cafe is small, local, with nice tables outside but with delicious breakfasts. Best omlette in my life: fluffy, creamy, full of taste. I never had similar quality in 5 stars restaurants around the world.Fantastic American pancakes with mascarpone. Melting in your mouth.You need to be here, taste it, and you will come back as many times as you can.

We had a really great Saturday dinner here, in the aâla carte part of the restaurant. Everything was prepared fresh, food for the four of us was each great, side dishes well chosen and tasty. The staff is very friendly, helpful, they like what they are doing. It was definitely a chef quality meal. We went for an early dinner and had reservation which was a good thing because by the time we finished the restaurant was full.
