Recently had breakfast here with my husband, and I wouldn't come back.Service was ok, waitress didn't offer to refill coffee, we had to ask. The gluten free pancakes are not very good, but the bacon was nicely cooked. The waffle and egg breakfast was ok, but the maple syrup doesn't even taste like maple. It's really just a sweet syrup which we did not care for.

Because of construction on Rt 206 in Byram Township it's easy to fly past this great little gem. It appears that maybe hurting business as we were the only patrons on a Saturday afternoon. HOWEVER, have not had such a tasty breakfast in years. The egg omelet was so fresh, coffee tasty and robust, service exceptional. Real home cooking taste and very reasonable prices. I hope they service and prosper. When next in the area I will plan not to have breakfast until I get to Byram.

We were looking for a breakfast place in the area and came across Rose's on Yelp. The outside is nothing special and for that matter, neither is the interior. It's clean but nothing charming or necessarily inviting. However, everything else is great! They have an interesting menu that had so many great sounding items, I did not know which one to choose. I ended up with the California benedict. It was good but had way to much sauce for my taste. I should have ordered it on the side. The service was attentive and the prices affordable. I would go back if I was in the area.

Located on busy area of route 206, Hampton Diner is pretty big, plenty of parking in lot; we were seated right away. Service was attentive, food was very good ( sign reads, 'all baking done on premises' ) and the prices were moderate, typical for diners. Nice place to grab a bite before catching a show at the Newton Theatre located 5 minutes away.

We came here for dinner and were pleasantly suprised. Certainly, this is not a 5 star restaurant, but rather a very good down to earth, home, local eatery. It is amazing how they can offer the variety and quantity of food choices. We started with fried calamari - not the best we've had (too many pieces were smooshed together and the ones that weren;t were only partially freid - good flavor however!). Wife had the chicken parm - huge portion along with the pasta AND a sizable salad, which she could not finish. Chicken parm was very good - tasty and tender. Pasta sauce OK but could have been better. I had the pastrami on rye sandwich which was sizable but the meat was overcooked. Service was terrific. John, one of the owners (of 33 years!) was present and involved. We would definitely return if we go back to that area.

My sons and I stopped here for lunch and really enjoyed the food, service, music, and decor. Our server was attentive and made suggestions about what to order, so we went with her favorite dishes, which were really good. The menu is creative and we will definitely be back. The best experience we have had in Newton.

Diner on route 206 in Andover nj 07821
Stopped in just before they were closing (9pm). Plenty of items on menu. I had omelette with home fries, wife had Reuben with sweet potatoe fries, daughter had chicken ceasar wrap other daughter had grilled cheese. Everyone was satisfied with their food. Service was quick. Prices were average.
