This comfortable spot is a genuine historic throw back to when diner's were all the rage. The food is quite good and homemade. When I visited, there were two very friendly and accommodating ladies manning the place. Their cheerfulness was a delight.

Set in an original 1950s Silk City dining car, it screams classic diner: crimped stainless-steel facade, Formica counter with stools, pink-and-blue neon sign, specials scrawled on chalkboards. Simple — you can get two eggs and a cup of Coffee. Not so simple — a bahn mi sandwich, Bulletproof coffee, CBD-infused Kombucha, artisanal hot sauce, a macrobiotic bowl with seaweed and brown rice, kimchi and a $16 burger made from “grass-fed and grass-finished” beef sourced from Herondale Farm, about 14 miles up the road.Folks drive from miles around and we waited half an hour.Worth it?Once maybe.
