My wife, adult daughter and I had breakfast with two friends here on a Friday morning at 9 in late July. We ordered coffee, three kinds of eggs Benedict, juice and another entree. Service was prompt and attentive and our coffee cups stayed well filled. We enjoyed our meal, and the bill with 20% tip came to $85 which seems fine for feeding 5 of us a sizable breakfast. Ambiance here is not fancy, so it gets a 4. Food was tasty, so it gets a 4. Location is good, right on Broad off New Street, so location gets a 5, and value gets a 4, while service gets a 5. That works out to an overall 4. This was our second time eating at Billyâs and we likely will do so again next time we are in Bethlehem.Hello PhilosophicalOldGuy, I appreciate the in depth review. It helps us see where we can improve and to see what we are doing right. We'll definitely work on making sure the ambiance is set right, as well as keep making sure our food is up to the standards that we have become known for. We stopped here after a long trip from Florida. The staff members were pleasant. The place is clean. It is a typical diner. But, I have never seen such a huge menu with so many choices. We both had Chicken Sandwiches and they were good. We also had the Combination Platter that had a lot of the appetizers they offer there. It was reasonable and the servings were generous. This is a good place to have a meal when you are on the go!

We decided on stopping in due to great reviews. So happy we did.. don't let the wait scare you away. The way this place is managed is highly efficient and the team makes it all happen. Small clean restaurant, super friendly staff. Service is quick and the food is fresh due to high volume. One of the best we ever been to.

Stopping for breakfast after a hospital visit, Nick's had everything you could want. First impressions are usually lasting impressions and Nick's left us with a good lasting impression. Our breakfasts were delivered quickly by a spunky waitress who made our time there fun. We had the usual breakfast items, omelets, french toast, eggs over easy and scrapple. Everything was very good thus making a return trip very possible. The restaurant and restrooms were very clean which is one of the things my wife and I look for.

The food is the biggest plus but even that is not perfect. It doesn't come across as a diner and the dining room is chopped up and seems small. Menu is impressive Service good. The cons are parking but that's not their fault. Walking in a no one there to greet you for 5 minutes, had a bagel and lox. Quality of lox was poor,. Bagel tasted like a super market bagel Nothing special. So just have to give this place only an okay rating.

This clean and spacious family restaurant (diner) has the traditional encyclopedic multi page menu and a very good senior menu which includes a salad or soup, entree, vegetable, and dessert, plus rolls and butter. The service is excellent... Two servers took care of its, brought fresh coffee before I asked, brought two kinds of dressing for my salad because I was having trouble deciding. Their friendly approach included many cozy questions about where we are from and what we are doing in Allentown.

Great food and excellent service in a nice and clean and friendly atmosphere. We had crab cakes (best we ever had), fried haddock dinner, salmon dinner, fish and fries, and spaghetti and meatballs. Everything was well done and tasty. Salad bar had nice array of salads (macaroni, red beet, pasta,etc) as well as greens and veggies and a choice of 3 soups (lobster bisque was great) and breads. All fresh and tasty. The Boston Creme Cake and Cherry Cheesecake were also great. A busy Saturday night and our server was busy and we were seated along the back side of the bar and she was still able to be very attentive to our needs and we did not have to wait long for our food. Very pleasant experience.
