This place is an older establishment that serves up various sandwiches. My wife and I had the cheese steak sandwich, dressed (lettuce, tomato, mayo, onions). We also had a limeade and split an order of fries. The food was made fresh to order, the limeade was great. The other sandwiches on the menu looked good. The cheese steak looked like a steak um, but was good. The sandwiches come in a variety of sizes, which is good if you want to eat light, or are really hungry. I would go back because this the prices are reasonable. This place is not fancy, but worth a trip.

Visited a Firehouse for the first time after our ballgame. The ordering process (line) was very confusing and super congested. After you order your food, you have to turn back into the oncoming line to get your beverage, then reach into another line to get your chips. All the tables were two tops and there were three of us so we just sat at the bar. Our sandwiches all came out at different times. And it seemed as though they steamed all the flavor out of our sandwich meats. they had run out of steak sauce at the counter and apparently had no more in the restaurant anywhere. And getting a refill on your drink sent you back through the crowded ordering line. Not sure if all their restaurants are like this one...let's hope not.

Regardless of where I am, home town or traveling by car, Subway is always a good choice. This one is tiny and that does not minimize the Subway experience. Sign up to receive discounts by text-a great benefit. Sometimes when we look for a place on the road to stop and eat, we come to the conclusion that we can get a filling Subway meal at a price that is less than all the 'less filling' fast food places anywhere. So we learn to choose the Subway variety.

Breakfast here was PERFECT! We three had Benny Goodman: poached eggs with delicate smoked salmon and roe, two of the crispest potato latke pillows, silky dill hollandaise. Cannot remember enjoying breakfast more. Adorably retro vibe, great eats, lovely service. Five stars all day.

Waiting for a late flight home at JetBlue in Concourse A, I went to nearby Vitoâs Market for a quick meal.This was cafeteria style so there were grab-and-go sandwiches. He had just made the Smoked Virginia Ham Panini. I got one. It was $9.75. With 52¢ state tax and 39¢ meals tax, the total was $10.66.Since it was freshly-made, it was good. There was plenty of ham in the sandwich. On the outside, one could probably get that panini for $8.95 so the airport price wasnât too bad. Iâd call the value of my panini average.
