As of the 2010 United States Census, the borough's population was 26,342, reflecting an increase of 605 (+2.4%) from the 25,737 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 670 (+2.7%) from the 25,067 counted in the 1990 Census. A suburb of New York City, Paramus is located 15 to 20 miles (24 to 32 km) northwest of Midtown Manhattan and approximately 8 miles (13 km) west of Upper Manhattan. In 2013, it was named as a "New Jersey Healthy Town" under the state's Mayor's Wellness Campaign. The Wall Street Journal, has characterized Paramus as the Quintessential Suburb with small town charm.

It's all about the food! You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu but I am partial to the America Chicken sandwich. And The French Fries are literally the best I've had. All the signature sandwiches are great. There's a reason this place has thrived for so long. And there is a reason it is always busy at lunch time. I try to make it in at least once a week.Grab lunch and head to nearby Van Saun Park on a nice day. The zoo is free starting in the Fall. There's no better way to occupy your lunch break if you work in or near Paramus.

Amazing food at a great price, the famous fries will blow you away, they are soooooo good!!!! The deliver and have a variety of things such as sandwhiches, wraps and hot food.

We ordered a Savino's pizza after a long day on the road. It arrived in 20 minutes (rather than the 30 they'd estimated), which was great with us. More important, the pizza was piping hot...not always the case with motel-delivered pizzas! We ordered the standard size, half extra cheese, half mushroom -- it was one of the best pizzas in recent memory. With tip, $22.
