Cute little place, easy access ramp or steps. Friendly server, coffee is pour-your-own, so you can grab it walking in the door to sip while you order. Fully-dressed plate means the tomato garnish with my eggs got turned into a sandwich and brightened my day. But those home fries..... those home fries are to die for.

We went in to get lunch sandwiches one day, and the food sélection was fine, as was the béer choices. They even have a growler fill station with empty glass for sale. Very convenaient for anyone, especially campers. Not the most friendly staff, but I had read that in some other reviews, and didn't care either way. Iras there for the food and drinks, not to make life friends! I would recommend the place

We are staying at the hotel and The Bistro is a excellent spot to hangout. Most places are closed here in October, but this place is open all year. The bar is top notch and the dinner items are delicious. The bartender was friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. I believe his name was Nelson. (Noe?) Â He works Sunday and Monday night. In the morning we grabbed breakfast. Service was quick and friendly. The food was delicious and the dining room is very nice. Emily was our waitress and was very nice. I expected it to be more like a fast food takeout format, but it was more like a sit-down place. A++++ to The Bistro at both the bar and the dining area. This place is a breath of fresh air in the Lake George region. Nice to have a modern up to date place.
