Iâm a repeat customer along with many of the locals. If you like po' boys & seafood plates, fried chicken, red beans and rice, French bread, as well as beverages & sweets - this is the place. There is an extensive menu. The portions of food are large with over stuffed shrimp, and catfish poâboys and lots of French fries. If you are looking for décor this is not the place. There are older tables, and two TVs for atmosphere. It is a little scruffy-lookin' and yes it looks and feels like a gas station. You get your own beverages and cups at a nearby counter. There is a video poker / slot machines game room if you get tired of waiting for the food to cook. Pay attention! The staff calls out your number so you can pick up your order. Donât mind the staff, this is not a five star restaurant. Casual or âlooseâ is the word. Donât use the bathroom, you will be disappointed.

Met a client at Hobnobber Cafe at her suggestion and had a very tasty shrimp plate with better than average potato salad. She had the shrimp salad. The prices were about average and quality and quantity were above average. I would visit again for sure. I had ice tea but drinks are available. Most customers seemed to be locals at lunch.
