If you're traveling down the highway on your way to a Tuscan vacation, find an excuse to pull off and go into Paganico for this place. When you walk in, there is a glass case full of the fresh food of the day. Locals are mostly coming in to get take-out - there are not many tables. However, you want to sit down, ask the owner to feed you, and get ready for some of the freshest, most delicious food imaginable. And when you think that there cannot possibly be anything better, she finishes you off with the lasagna - homemade noodles, the works. It literally melts in your mouth. On an interesting sidenote, this place is also an amazing vegan restaurant. The mother cooks traditionally and the daughter cook vegan fare. Both are wonderful people and fantastic chefs.

Il bar Da Begname oramai Ã¨ diventato parte essenziale della montagna stessa. E` aperto da quasi cento anni e all`interno potrete trovare buonissimi prodotti locali (olio, castagne, noci, affettati, formaggi e tante altre cose anche con offerta stagionali)

You can get everything here, great coffee and pastry, full bar, gelato, great delicatessen selections, but also wonderful food at the restaurant...delicious food especially the tripe in tomato sauce!What a great place for rendez vous. The proprietor Simonetta is such a sweetheart and a great Chef!LOVE this place!

Tappa obbligatoria per chi percorre la superstrada per Siena. Si pranza (bene e a prezzi contenuti), ma si puÃ² anche degustare un piatto freddo di prodotti tipici della zona. Noi amiamo la loro porchetta, nella classica pezzatura maxi: a fette grosse su pane toscano, con farcitura di zucchine e pomodorini sott'olio, Ã¨ una delizia per il palato. Buona scelta di vini e di birre. Cortesia e prezzi abbordabili.
