This place is literally in the middle of nowhere, I would never have found it, without the assistence of a local. It's a none descript building, it looks like any eaterie you could find in a Spansh village.Inside, it has a homely feel and a butcher's counter.We were seated in a conservatory like area, after some meat, cheese and the odd look speciality we had a selection of meat and fish dishes to share for main course,which was very good indeed.I was persuaded, to have dessert only one choice, arroz con leche, I am a creature of habit..It was good, the simplicity of the facade hides a restaurant serving simply cooked food of very good quality,with friendly service.

While this restaurant was on the pricey side for Cartagena, the food was worth it. We had a three course meal there and every dish was exquisite - I would recommend the sardines for starter especially. The only slight disappointment was that they'd sold out of the scallops for main! My husband had the octopus for main and absolutely loved it.They have a superb selection of deserts as well - something for everyone. There is a menu in English so you know what you're getting, I speak very very basic Spanish and we had Google Translate so we managed just fine!

We just had the most wonderful dining experience with the combination of a true locals tapas restaurant. Such delicious food, especially the prawns, fish and jamon iberico at excellent prices that would have cost so much more elsewhere for this quality. Our evening was made even better the wonderful service from the enthusiastic and passionate manager to our waitress. Nothing was too much trouble. Mil gracias.
