We stumbled upon this restaurant by accident and man what a treat ! The first day we came we had pizza which was just amazing, the house red wine fantastic and the price super cheap. After that we decided to go two more times in one week just because the taste of the food stuck with us. I think it is a family run restaurant and it had a very chill and casual vibe. They didn't speak much English but we communicated with hands and it was a treat in itself! The food was so great we took some home to have it on the plane back home the next day. I don't leave reviews often but this place deserves it ! It was cheap yet the food was of great quality, people were kind and the vibe felt very homely. Highly recommending it !

It was our first dinner in Pisa. We made reservation but there was no problem with table around 7 PM. Owner spent with us a lot of time telling about every dish and wine from the menu. His knowledge about Toscany cuisine was impressive. We chose pasta with ragu and with asparagus. It was shocking that with so simple igredients you can made so many flavours. Chianti wine is my favourite now! I recommend this place.

Vado a questa sagra dalla prima edizione, ed ho sempre mangiato bene, o quasi. Quest'anno sono andata 2 volte, la prima non azzeccata, e la seconda nemmeno!!A parte le file, prima per fare l'ordine, poi per mettersi a sedere, con la gente che educatamente passa avanti a decine di persone, e gli onesti se ne stanno due ore in attesa. Il bello è che negli ultimi anni hanno istituito i numeri, ma non si sa a cosa servono!! Perché poi non chiamano con il numero. A parte il primo anno.Quest'anno gli schiaffoni erano cambiati, più grossi, meno delicati, meno leggeri. Erano fatti con le uova. Ma gli altri anni no. Specialmente conditi al pesto, il sapore dell'uovo disgustava proprio. Peccato! Al tavolo mi è capitato il solito bellissimo bambino per il servizio, che purtroppo prende gli ordini e li perde, poi sparisce, e non porta da mangiare! Ma poverino!! Non insistete a farlo lavorare!! Il tanto agognato frate, mangiato a fine serata, quasi piena notte, era freddo e duro. Che peccato!!Insomma speriamo in meglio il prossimo anno!!
