The Island Chef is a gourmet style sandwich shop and deli. Our specialty is our Cuban Sandwich, The only real Cuban in the north country.
Great sandwiches and wraps and much foodie stuff in this small place. Don't let the humble place fool you - creations are great and made to your order. The day we were there several people came in and the chef and cashier (same person) managed with courtesy and expedience - although a small wait is a joy looking around the shop. Should be a staple for a sandwich stop when in the area!Thank you for your kind review! I hope you can come back and visit next time your in the area.Chef Caryn

We've been here a few times to shop and have brought home the marinated chicken, breakfast sausage and different flavors of the regular sausage. We enjoyed them all. We stopped in recently for breakfast. It's an order at the counter and have the food brought to you kind of place. We went with a breakfast wrap, a slice of the meat quiche and the breakfast potatoes. It was all good and I would definitely return. Service was friendly as well.

The Glen Ledge Corner Store is located in an Exxon Station, this deli and convenience market is attractive and clean. The Sandwiches are incredible, I have mine on the warm ciabatta and the homemade soups hit the spot on a cold winter's day. Also the bakery goods are fresh and delicious, I am addicted to the cinnamon rolls. They have pizza and if you are in a hurry the have sandwiches and wraps ready to go.It is absolutely a must, while visiting the Mount Washington Valley. You will not be disappointed.
