Traveling with family including child with food allergies. They were fabulous about accomodating special requests. Food was amazing. Super fresh fish and gorgeous and tasty salad. Very reasonable prices, beautiful view of beach. Clean restroom, friendly staff, excellent service. Yum!!!!

Spiseriget (which can almost mean both Kingdom of eating and the eatery)is a surprisingly good and cozy eating place in this small town, where boring, standard and unhealthy fastfood is the norm. They do it mostly in sandwiches, burgers and âtapasâ, and even if that can appear mainstream and lack of fantasy, it is indeed very good.We had sandwiches and burgers and both types were very good, fresh, made with good ingredients and served with a twist. The sandwiches come in normal or large, and the large is really large. Be warned. It is small place with all seating upstairs under the roof (or outside). Cozy. Service was spotless and pretty fast.Coffee (the âlocalâ one) was delicious.Price is somewhat higher than the junk-places around but the quality is fully worth the difference.

Restaurant i beliggende i naturskønne omgivelse, med hollandske madpandekager, stort ølkort med de bedste belgiske øl, legeplads til børnene både ude og inde.
Pancakes (not only sweet stuff) made with several different tastes and often salad on top. Try it out or at least enjoy the huge beer menu. Could also be coffee with - pancakes...

First time visitors to this restaurant. We both had burgers and soft drinks. Really enjoyed our food, which was both tasty and was well presented. Speedy and friendly service. Also the food was fairly priced. Restaurant was well located in the centre of Henne Strand city and only a few minutes away from the beach. Will definitely return

The inn Von Lügenhals is situated in VARDE GARTEN iand is Denmark's only imperial privileged inn, founded in the year 1626. The ruins of the inn were found during the construction of VARDE GARTEN and have been carefully restored. Danish and modern cuisine
Went here for a birthday celebration, and its a fairly newly built bar & restaurant plus outside beergarden, a bigger simple party beerhall across and also had an event center with its own private artwork garden. We enjoyed lunch and dinner, both were excellent and modern cuisine. Understand the chefs are quite focused on using local foods, and must say both the lunch and dinner were excellent. The waiters were all very charming and still professional, clearly a good atmosfare, and well spoken in both danish and english. Accordingly can highly recommend for lunch or dinner, birthday celebrationg or wedding/events.

After mainly havibg Hot Dogs and food at home during the holiday we really wanted to go out for dinner which is not that easy in this area as the good places require long term reservation so we were very happy to have a table for dinner not realizing that this is as well a rather expensive restaurant . But the food was very very good so at the end it was a very nice eve just not the simple meal we wanted to have . We chose the 3 course option and ended up with 160EUR for two . Next time we would probably just do 2 option as both the starter and the main were splendid. They also have children dishes.

High expectations given its two star status and we gave them every chance to impress as we ordered the full tasting menu with wine pairing. Pre dinner we went into a bar area which was ok. Full of B&O speakers which were unfortunately playing ABBAâs greatest hits! Quietly fortunately. Seriously this needs to change. We were served a pre dinner snack of an Indian theme. This involved a sharing tapas style event comprising of effectively a popadom, some chopped tomatoes, raita and chutney. Now it was lovely and for Daneâs or Germans might have been an innovative revelation but for us Brits this is standard Fayre and quite frankly although nice, I could tell you many places in London that are better. On top of which I personally dropped most of mine on the very expensive rug as there were no plates issued.I donât think that is the best way to introduce what amazing food was to come.We were taken to the restaurant which was typically Scandì. Simple but everything top quality. Light and airy and yet warm and comforting. We then had two further snacks including a very nice parsnip soup. At least two excellent seafood dishes, you lose track after a while. My favourite the cod and my wife the scallops.Meat course was a refreshing change in Guinea Fowl which was perfection. Two desserts which were both excellent. Wine pairing was really imaginative and superb. We also had the cheese course which was interesting. Two excellent, one good and one average. Surprisingly no Danish Cheese? The service throughout was immaculate, informative, friendly and fun.About £400 a head so well in the 2* top end pricing (X change rate doesnât help) but in my opinion well worth it.

We've been there two times for lunch and have chosen either individual dishes or the "Lunch Meals", which were combinations of various delicious smaller portions. All this combined with nice bread, good drinks and a very friendly service results in a very good restaurant choice for Blaavand (we even came from Hvide Sande to eat there).
