Cosy cafe with a great brunch, light lunch dishes and heavenly cakes. Located in the middle of Sønderborg, this small oasis offers a relaxing time with friends and family, in true Scandinavian style.
Visiting Sønderborg we needed coffee and beer, and had this place recommended. Really cozy place with good friendly service. The girls enjoyed great coffee and homemade cake, and the guys had very nice beer from Herslev. All reasonably priced.

Allright i have very fond memories about the location mommark from my childhood, but until a few years ago the old harbour and fisher and ferry place was almost gone derilict and neglected. However it seems now a good soul has taken care of the place and made this a place worth coming back to again. The new caretakers of Mommark Marina has put a lot of hard work and soul into bringin this place back to its glorious times. we had the pleasure to enjoy a larger family dinner here and was smitten by the hosts good food and excellent selection of wines and beers(anyone who serves kronenbourg on tap is allright in my book). we especially recommend the smoked fish, which is catched and smoked by the Marina itself. So if you visit the island of Als - please go for a lunch at this wonderful spot.Thank you very much for the nice Words....We are glad that you find our wunderfull Marina Nice.

Located within walking distance of Gråsten Palace and in the heart of downtown Gråsten you will find this little restaurant very quaint and quiet. More importantly it is a place where you can sit and enjoy genuine and great-tasting Danish cuisine. The menu items are reasonably priced. The service is wonderful and the servers are very friendly.On-street, free parking is available.

We have eaten here on several occasions. The food is quite good but the atmosphere is a little strange (a bit 70s). We recommend the hule bøf (beef cooked on a stone at the table) and the open sandwiches which are first class. We have also tried the fish which is quite good. The staff are friendly and this is a good place to eat if you are not bothered about the decor. Definitely no Danish hyggelig!

as this hotel is part of a terrific group we had high expectations. The decor and ambience is excellent as was the warm welcome at reception. The restaurant was clearly over stretched (there were confirmation parties in the private rooms) both in the kitchen and with the poor service.A starter was forgotten and petit fours arrived long after the coffee.Food wise, excellent crusty bread but the wiener schnitzel was very ordinary, dumped on a plate with a pile of undercooked burnt roasted new potatoes and a mountain of peas.Zero presentation and tough meat.Itâs almost impossible to think that this restaurant is a relative of Knapp (just half an hour away) which always delivers and is inventive and surprising in its food, presentation and service.

As a fairly regular visitor to Sonderborg, I have eaten at a number of the restaurants in the town over the years; the Colosseum never fails to deliver great food and fantastic service in a lovely environment, it's ideally located by the waterside and I can highly recommend "The Kings Dish" (house speciality) as well as the many meat and fish dishes.Highly Recommended.

I've been to Torvehallen on several occasions for a take away pizza. The variety is interesting compared to other restaurants and pizzarias in the area, and the taste is usually good. On my last visit however, I witnessed the owner talking down to one of the employees. It was a clearly audible scolding for everybody in the restaurant, which granted wasn't a lot og people at the time, and it was over a salad. Now I do respect that the owner wants a certain standard and that the salad lacked something to live up to that. But this scolding made me cringe. It was out of place and unnecessarily loud. After the scolding the owner walked by me and gave me the slimiest of smileys as if the demeaning scolding was natural and to be expected. With such disregard for his staff's wellbeing, I am done eating food from Torvehallen, and I sincerely hope his chef has found a better place to work.

This wonderfully restored house serves mouthwatering dinners with very good and well-paired wines. Got a tour of their wine cellar which has numerous fantastic vintages in stock. The waiter/sommelier was extremely knowledgeable of wines. Just meeting him was worth the evening. However, the chefs also did them proud and the interior and décor are great.
