Skipperstuen is by the harbour in Lynæs. It's a very nice place and they serve the best Danish food with emphasis on seafood. The environment is quite home like. Service is good and very friendly but because it a smaller place, during summertime peak hours you may have to wait a little for your food. Prices are reasonable.

We've been coming to Den blå ansjos for a few years now. It is always good, and on a nice day it is also quite busy. You order at the counter and then wait for your buzzer to buzz. You pick up your own food at the kitchen window. The prices are good and the atmosphere is relaxed. The fried fish is always fresh and is served with very good homemade remoulade on the side. The fried shrimp are tempura style with panko breading and are also very good. You can choose between salad or fries on the side. The salad is very big and delicious. This is a great place to come with the kids, very laid back and close to the little playground at Hundested harbor.
Wonderful, friendly staff. Chef is amazing, with a good sense of humour. Nothing is too much trouble, amenable to all requests. Delicious coffee and cakes, dinner fantastic. Good Choice of drinks at very reasonable prices. This is a must for anyone visiting Denmark. Specialists is vegetarian & vegan food. All produce organic, amazing. Will definitely be visiting again.

This restaurant is linked to a shop selling fresh fish (Hundested is a fishing village) and the buffet has lots of different kidns of fish: marrinated herring, smoked salmon, prawns, steamed salmon with aspargus, steam cod in a sauce with prawns, smoked cod roe, and more, plus Italian smoked ham, frikadeller, lever pate, cheese, fruit and finishing with coffee and apple pie. Every thing was fresh and very tasty, the bread was gorgeous and you could eat yourself silly for 119 kr (about £12-13) which is brilliant value.

Booked a table by phone and there it was waiting for us on arrival. Sweet waitress who served us with a smile. Our 3 choices arrived together and were delicious. Think salads with faroe smoked salmon, crayfish tails, whole avocadoes, The portions were very generous and the accompanying breads fresh. Locally brewed beers available too.

Had a lovely meal here after visiting the Sandsculpture exhibit. This was the top recommendation on TripAdvisor and was exactly perfect. The restaurant is a relaxed blend of Danish food, craft beers and a marina-side atmosphere. The restaurant building looked more like an office building but don't let that deter you - choose a table, get a menu and put your flag up to order! We enjoyed lovely Danish specialities but with a special focus on the herring which is marinated in beer and brown sugar - by far the best herring I had in Denmark (and I had A LOT). The accompaniments were perfect - capers, big capers and enough onions to make a person faint - but it was delicious! The kids had burgers (and ate it all) and afterwards we all splurged on dessert - a mars-biscuit and a lemon cheesecake. My husband enjoyed a plank of complex and tasty craft beers whilst I had some rose wine to enjoy the sunny seaside afternoon. The service was friendly and efficient so nothing to complain about. We were surprised we liked it so much (as it did not exactly look inviting from the outside). We ended up exploring the marina after lunch and then coming back for a late afternoon drink and snack again.
