I was very excited to try Danish food, but I didn't really enjoy my dinner. The server recommemded the meatballs. They were dry tasting and covered in brown gravy. The mashed potatoes tasted like the came from a box of freeze-dried potatoes. I did enjoy the red cabbage. Friends like the salmon. It had a strong taste, but they liked it. Their saukeraut was quite good. Another friend said the sausages were so-so but the potato pancake was good. Service was good, but I wouldn't go out of my way for a return visit.

Danish and American cuisine offering menu service for breakfast, lunch and dinner. In a hurry? We also offer an all you can eat smorgasbord featuring delicious cold and hot dishes including meatloaf, mashed potatoes, red cabbage, Swedish meatballs, cucumb
Bland, tasteless food. Nothing appeared to be made there, but rather instant mashed potatoes, cabbage out of a jar and defrosted unseasoned âDanishâ sausages that were more doughy filler than meat. The cramped, sweaty dining area was small, but it took three requests for ice water for anyone to bring it over. Zero ambiance, but then most school cafeterias donât have much either.Thank you for your patronage and feedback it helps us pinpoint where we need to make improvements. Have a good day.

It was the second time and it's still satisfying. Don't expect a vast choice of dishes like the one that you find on Chinese buffets. The simple food they bring to the table though are quality, good tasting food. They have a salad barMeatballsSausagesPastaMashed potatoesGravySoup of the day. They also have ala carte. I think they serve alcohol (but haven't tried it yet). They have warm and definitely friendly staff.

We had breakfast. The servers had cute outfits. The decorations were clever. The menu descriptions sounded delicious. However, everything tasted very average. The cheese sauce on my crepe good have been cheese whiz. My companion"s specialty sausage had unusual spices (nutmeg?)

This was a bit of nostalgia for me as I was here as a youth. On a Monday morning we were able to walk right into the restaurant although they were pretty busy. Having Abelskivers was truly a part of the nostalgia as I had them when young and my mom bought a pan and made them. I also had some eggs to go with and they were fine. the service was great and the speed by which they served was very quick.

Serving classic American breakfast and lunch in addition to our worldly famous Danish pancakes.
Everything was fabulous! Our server Dominque was the best! Great sense of humor!! Her service was top notch. The food was fantastic. We all ordered the pancake combo. The pancakes are large thin, airy and delicious. Itâs served with butter and an amazing syrup. Eggs were cooked perfectly over medium and nice crisp bacon. Coffee was flavorful and plentiful. I didnât think I was going to eat it all but it was so good I ate every bite and loved every heavenly morsel. Highly recommended for an amazing breakfast.

Anyone who has lived in California has probably heard of Pea Soup Anderen's. This was the first time we had ever been to one of the locations. First impression was that it was the typical tourist trap restaurant. You have to walk through the shop that sells their products to get to and from the restaurant. We were seated right away. The restaurant decor is shabby, worn out diner. Our waiter was very nice and professional. There were many other gentlemen who filled our water and took our plates. As for the food, well, it was unmemorable. We tried the pea soup. It was ok, but truthfully not any better than what I can make at home. My husband started with the pickled herring appetizer. It was a HUGE plate filled with mayonnaise with the herring mixed in. He literally had to search through the slop for the herring. I honestly don't remember what else I had for dinner. It apparently did not make an impression on me. I'm glad we finally tried this place, but I would not return.

Yearly my husbandâs family eats breakfast together at Ellenâs. Many times we practically take over the restaurant! The breakfast served is always generous and delicious! My husband loves their sausage and omelettes. I would highly recommend their pancakes that are so large they barely fit on the plate! The service is friendly and efficient. It is very family friendly and very popular.
