Traditional Czech cuisine and family-style in the center, suitable for a quick lunch or a quiet evening sitting with friends. Draft Beer - Pilsner Urquell or Traditional draft lemonade - Kofola
Our waiter spoke fluent German and translated the whole menu for us. The food came very quickly and was excellent, we strongly recommend the traditional garlic soup!

Whilst visiting Liberec for the day we found this restaurant attached to a hotel just off the main square. The restaurant was wood paneled and the staff very welcoming. It had an English translation of the menu which was helpful. The food was good and very reasonably priced. Dear guest,it is lovely to hear you have had nice time here. We always try to give our best to our customers.Hopefully we will see you anytime soon again.Barbora ZulkovskáHotel Radnice

Large choice available. Our meals were prepared and served quite promptly considering it was a Saturday evening and busy.Waitress even provide colouring oens and paper for my grandson. Our meals were excellent and drinks prices were very good. Additional drinks supplied very promptly.Restaurant is located near bus/tram station on corner of a road junction under a multi storey car park. Slightly hidden away but worth finding.Good value for money food and drinks.

A restaurant with modern gastronomy in the center of Liberec.Great food, great beer and professional service. Offer lunch menu.
Visited for a late-night meal wife wife and friend. The restaurant was full to capacity and buzzing with the 30-something crowd; an upscale vib...Each of us ordered a different pasta dish and side salad. The portions were adequate and quite well prepared and presented. I envied diners on other tables who had ordered soup in a bread bowl. I'll try one next time. The service was remarkable considering the number of people waiting for service. Over all, a pleasant experience if you are not expecting a quiet, intimate setting. Yes, the tables are set quite close together so you wouldn't want to go there to plan a murder. Thanks for your visit and wish a nice day

The sumptuous, succulent kangeroo steaks, local Kousek beer and model motorbike running along the bar counter give this place a real edge over other places in town.Everywhere is immaculate and the kitchen is openly exposed by a glass panel allowing customers to see chef's busily preparing dishes to a decent level of care. The steaks were served medium rare, paired with polenta cake and drizzled with cranberry and mint chutney. Candidly I can say the cake worked well with the meat juices given its somewhat dry consistency. We decided to pass on desserts, presiding over their thick hot chocolates almost thick enough to stand a spoon in.Mains average 250 CZK with starters mainly in double figures local currency. For a three course meal and a couple of long drinks expect to cough up 500 CZK which would comfortably give you ample change out of £20 even after a generous tip.Directions: Take tram 2 or 3 from the centre of town at Fugnerova and travel five stops to Staré Pekárny in the direction of Hornà Hanychov. Beer Warehouse is located opposite the tram stop.

I was happy with the selection at this restaurant as well as the service and food quality. It makes for a nice stop whether you want a cup of a hot tea during one of the chillier winter days, or a full dinner at a restaurant with an amazing view.

The food here is rich and plentiful. Thee are imaginative variations on traditional Czech dishes. They also have beers beyond the standard Pils. A touch mire expensive than others in the area, but gappy to pay it when the place is so thoughtfully and cosily set up.

Interior of Balada used to be modern in the end of 90th and even menu didn't change too much since that time. But it is not bad in case of this restaurant. I visited it first time more than 10 years ago and still it is one of my favorite restaurants in Liberec. Food is always a good quality and tasty, staff friendly and caring and service is fast. The only thing I can't recommend are cocktails. I wasn't satisfied with my mojito. But maybe it was just a bad luck...

The brewery Svijany is really taking care about their brand, not only what the excellent beer concerns, but also in food. The restaurant offers good typical local meal, and/or season meals, focused on local scene. Probably the meal could be warmer, but the restaurant is big and many people there.
