By accident we ordered more dishes than we were people, and we got really full and delicious plates (English menu available). The mini chicken schnitzels, the dessert pancakes, the pork in glass and the salad with goat cheese are all specials. The place is new or recently modernized and therefore nice, also located at the central square. We would come back!
Staff was very kind & friendly, beer was cold and sharp and served swiftly.Local cuisine tasty and surprisingly economical. I guess it is in the city iconic center or very, very close.Friendly place for bikers, sand box and playground for kids. Will come back
Calm family restaurant in close proximity to protected natural reserve Prachov Rocks. Offers both inside and outside seating, with good Czech cuisine and fair prices.

As I have family living in Jicin I come here quite a lot, being English this restaurant really accommodates English customers, the service is always excellent and has had the same waiting staff every time I've been which I think speaks volumes! I have dined at this restaurant since 2009 and I absolutely love it, the food is great and excellent value for money, the management are always incredibly accommodating. It's also non smoking which is a big bonus as in the Czech rep it's not law yet. All in all this is my favourite place to go when I am with my Czech family! Thank you. Diva Bara!

This is a very pleasant restaurant proposing typical local food. The portions are gorgeous as in many places in the country. However, the prices are here about the half of what you will be charged for the same food in Prague. You eat in the middle of a beautiful forest with huge trees all around you. And when the sun shines, the scenery is superb. The service is young, beautiful, smiling and doing its best. It was however slow, we had to wait nearly one hour. This restaurant is run by a very small team and it looks like all is prepared when the order arrives. As we arrived at about 2pm, quite few meals were no longer available. But not big deal, it is a small scale operationâ¦. The walk through surrounding forest is a must and helps digestion!

Our non-smoking restaurant, where the President, ambassadors and many other notable figures have enjoyed lunch, invites you to come and sample its excellent cuisine, itâs unrivalled selection of fine wines, and the authentic old-time Austro-Hungarian atmo
Cozy restaurant with antique paraphernalia, dark wood and a well-stocked bar.The menu is Czech and local. Specials are also available including seasonal ones (we were here for asparagus season). Some vegetarian options as well and they had an English menu.I had a tasty pork Viennese (i.e. a Wiener Schnitzel), which came with delicious potatoes. My husband went for asparagus (green and white) with hollandaise sauce, which he enjoyed. We both had a delicious cream of asparagus soup as a starter.Really lovely and helpful staff.Very nice place!
