Slightly off the beaten track this small konoba definitely delivers beyond expectations. Simple Croatian food, but seems fresh and cooked as it should be. Thumbs up!

Margarita pizza was good and we enjoyed it during a nice quiet winter afternoon lunch. But server wasnât engaging at all. Took our order and delivered our food. That was it. It surprised me because Iâm good at encouraging servers to converse. People business (like restaurants) are about PEOPLE-making them feel good about choosing your place to eat.

Good food, very simple list, mostly fish. More than reasonable prices. It is a perfect family-run Konoba; we enjoyed the "little fish" as starter, very good & cheap.Location in wonderful... great place if you look for a quiet spot on the island. No credit cards, of course.... why should we?
PaÅ¡ticada is a typical dalmatian dish, which should be served in every Croatian coastal restaurant. Something each tourist should go for like, Paella in Spain or Wienerschnitzel in Austria, however paÅ¡ticada is much better :))). The PaÅ¡ticada at the Palma is a must!! Delicious marinated meet in a unbelievable aromatic sauce and homemade macaroni is something you need to order in this restaurant. I did in three times this summer :) . Besides that the restaurant serves much more, For example: very tasty sea food pasta, excellent ÄevapÄiÄi and something you will not get everywhere - fried cuttle-fish. Service is also great and fast, since during the season they have a lot of stuff. Location is unique, directly on a peebles/sand (in the sea) beach. This is a highly recommended place and a prototype how a Croatian beach restaurant should work.

You will really get a big portion of meal. When I ordered "lungic" I thought I got a half piglet. Luckily, they were prepared and I could get a "dog bag". The stuff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I reccomend this restaurang.

Really nice food and menu. The staff were all friendly and attentive. I got bruschetta which was really tasty. We also got lasange which was huge portion and the Paloma salad. The salad was a bit disappointing as I had seen ceasar salad dishes that were big and full, mine was smaller and lacking in fillings. It was very tasty but just a bit underwhelming compared to the other dishes. But everything else was good and the pizzas also looked really nice.

I expected more from Restaurant which has third rating in Novalja. Food is just corect, some ingredians are local some not. I am 100% shure that lamb chops were not from Pag altought they are offered as domestic product. Octopus carpacio is great and clams too. Vine list is also corect and house wine is Krauthaker graševina which is one of the best graševina in Croatia. The best part is service which is polite and profesionaly helpful. Terace has view on parking and atmosphere is litle bit steril. Value for money should be better.

In Novalja, you can hit a bottle and conduct various substances research until early morning. A day after, you end up carving for greasy carbohydrate infused meal in some mediocre restaurant, planning next self-destructive adventure. However, if you want something subtle and regional, try out this place. The wine list is nicely combined. The prices are fair, not cheap, reasonable. We went simple, a fish soup, a salad, Malvazija(vino) and some bread. It was perfect. In this part of the region, the fish soup is of broth type, a fresh fish, some vegetables, and that's it. If you want a meal, you go with broudet (God forbid! It is not bouillabaisse), or a particular type called gregada. The fish soup? Probably the best in this part of Adriatic. Four types of shells, vongole (Adriatic clam), prnjavice (warty venus), Mediterranean mussel and kunjke (arca noae), first-class fish (unboned) and Adriatic Å¡kamp (Norway lobster, I suppose some leftovers from partying in Triassic Period), olive oil and bread. Delicious!Afterward, I was darting around the restaurant suspiciously humming GOT music theme, until personnel realized my torment and offered help. We agreed that I would come back and try some of their specials. Fresh Adriatic fish(catch of the day), Wrapped Pag lamb(what and how?), Beef cheek and Rib Eye Steak. My 'flexitarian' ideology is severely shaken, but to be honest, if I go with the fish soup again, no regrets.

Really amazing 5 course chef selection with several "Greetings from the Chef" dishes. Very very positively surprised.Even though it is premium priced restaurant, all meal courses, whole surrounding and kindness of staff totally deserve that kind of prices. One of the best restaurants in Croatia! Top!
