Arrived without reservation but after only few moments wait a table was arranged without any fuss. Reasonably priced food was delicious and good presentation. Our waiter George was a true professional if we stayed in the area longer would definitely have returned.

Traditional local cuisine with a rich selection of fish and meat dishes. Air-conditioned interior and a spacious terrace.
We ate here whilst staying at Hotel Asterea last week. We felt a little uncomfortable when we arrived at 6.40pm to be told that the kitchen wasn't ready yet for orders (opening time was advertised as 6.30pm) a waiter asked us to come back a little later. However, when we returned at 7.15pm they welcomed us and showed us to one of the best tables (they had reserved it for us - so nice!!!) overlooking the sea. I had the Sea Bream served with potatoes & Spinach & my husband had a local steak dish. Both meals were excellent, tasty & hot. Hubby had Apfel Streudel for pudding, he said it was delicious. Special mention must be made to our waitress, she was very knowledgeable when helping with my wine choice. I told her I would skip the desert as there was no cheese option on the desert menu but she produced a special plate of cheese & fruit and surprised me with it . It was a magical evening, with candle light, the sound of soothing waves on the beach and a beautiful view across the moonlit water.

Another restaurant on the main road, which on reflection, is hardly surprising. Not all eateries can be on the waterfront, and the coastal raid makes perfect sense. Fairly soon the passing traffic is just part of the ambience, and not disturbingly so. This Saturday night we had entertainment: a crooner with a backing track (who was also playing guitar, to be fair), who, although not entirely my scene, was fairly unobtrusive, and I was able to sit at a reasonable distance. A friendly waiter served me a good shrimp risotto (no calories in the copious amounts of cream or course!!). A decent piece of tuna followed, although I feel a salty fish had been further salted in its preparation, which to my taste was a bit too much. It was accompanied by spinach and potato, both well prepared (also with a side portion of crushed garlic) and I was particularly impressed with the small, fresh bread rolls accompanying my meal - in truth, the most interesting bread during my holiday week! Sorry to say that the positive review ends here. After clearing my main course plate, my waiter offered me no further service. Perhaps itâs the Croatian way? I was actually of a mind to order dessert, but resent having to grab a waiterâs attention in order to do this. Surely it is part of their job to see service through to the end of a meal, and surely they realise that they can do better business by encouraging their customers in this respect?Having waited half an hour, my enthusiasm for pudding was gone, so I paid my bill (and expressed my dissatisfaction to my waiterâs colleague, who was apologetic) and left.

We were staying in the apartments above the restaurant and it always seemed busy - the tables were always reserved! We tried to get a table as walk in diners one night but they were fully booked, so had to return another night after making a reservation. We did get a walk in table another time but this was for an early tea (5pm) and even then most of the tables had reserved signs on. They have two dining areas, one above the restaurant, the other across the road, both overlooking the beach. The service on both occasions was friendly, and the food was really tasty. This is a lovely little restaurant with a great setting, well worth a visit. You will probably also be joined by one of the many cats that live at the apartment above!

My wife and I have just enjoyed the nicest meal since we came to Croatia. Koga is a family run business offering the most wonderful and tasty food, friendly and attentive service, country music in the background and the whole ambiance making for a wonderful experience. We shall definitely go back and would recommend it to everyone that we know whi is visiting the area.10 out of 10.

Family restaurant in the center of Mlini located directly by the seaside
Managed to book a table during the day for the evening.Had a few drinks in bar adjacent to the restaurant & witnessed many people turned away so best to book as it's very popular.Starters of black risotto & mussels followed by chicken stuffed with cheese & ham & lamb chops went down very well with a recommended bottle of local red wine.Unfortunately no room for famous cheesecake will have to return.

We called here on the recommendation of our taxi driver and we were glad we did. We did not book but arrived as soon as it opens at 7pm ( only opens 7pm to midnight) We were very lucky to get a table as numerous parties were being turned away as it was fully booked all week. The place is situated above the tree line looking at the sea. It was run by very friendly welcoming staff. The food was exceptional and well priced. We had muscles to start and what a huge portion. Mains were cooked on a wood fired bbq right in front of you. Both meat and fish were delicious. Highly recommend a visit and what a sunset eating our muscles!

Restaurant Puntizela is located in a beautiful park in Mlini, overlooking on a pebble beach. The nature and the ambience surrounding the restaurant certainly won't leave you disappointed, as you are waiting for our extemely professional and friendly staff
Visited this restaurant twice for dinner during a 2 week stay in Mlini. The restaurant is set in a lovely location, as you walk around the bay by the beach. It looks really pretty at night time too, amongst the trees with colourful lighting - and it also smelt amazing every time we walked past! On both occasions we had great service, and the waiter was extremely helpful on our first visit, helping us to decide what to order. The food was delicious, the wine was great, the service was wonderful and the setting perfect. We enjoyed it so much the first time we went back again for a second visit. Highly recommend.

The Zoë Restaurant will delight every guest with its wonderful selection of fish, scampi or shellfish prepared in the traditional, Mediterranean way, with special herbs and fresh seasonal ingredients. In addition to our diverse selection of seafood dishes
We ate at Zoe's twice during our three night stay as it was very good and worth paying a little extra money. On the first night we sat outside on the terrace and saw the brilliant sunset, what a view!We had a lovely meal. My husband had the "special offer" of three courses inc mussels and lobster plus dessert. No issue with the many many mussels he had, but the lobster had become a crayfish by the time it reached our table. Don't get me wrong it was lovely, but not what was mentioned as the offer.Anyway, we did enjoy our evening and we ventured back and sat inside the next time where I chose the tuna...superb meal (I have rarely chosen tuna before). My husband had a sea bass (the whole fish) which he enjoyed very much. The staff at Zoe's are very friendly and efficient and there was nothing to complain about. All good, all delicious and in the most beautiful setting you could imagine.

Fine dining romantic restaurant with perfect location on Main Street Of Dubrovnik - Stradun. Mediterranean, European, Croatian, Seafood. Vegetarian Friendly.
This beautiful little restaurant is lovingly and quietly managed by a team of extremely well informed people. Our first visit was to see if we could eat there later in the day, but as luck would have it, they were managing a party of 30 that night ( it really didn't look big enough for 30!)We chose the following night. Our meal was all we hoped for. . . . . really excellent and delicious. It's not the cheapest place in town, but remember - - - you get what you pay for!
