Our family has been in the culinary business for many years. We can proudly state that we were among the first restaurant businesses in Hvar in the 70s and during the last century. A rich palate of Mediterranean specialties and a wine chart will thrill ev
We had two night / dinners in the beutiful island, Hvar.We had a recommendation from our guest house about Bonaca.on our first night in Hvar we found a very expensive place which we weren't happy with at all, unfortunately.on our second night we came to the right place ! Bonaca has a terrace, great food and service.we had the great Gregada dish which is rich tasty and filled us both!no side dishes.Joni / Ivan was very pleasant and treated us like friends , he was kind, playful and lovely.for sure we will be back here when in Hvar again.I recommend it by all means! especially for the fish dish .

Dear guests, please note that we will be closed from 29 September 2019. We look forward to seeing you again next summer! Thank You!
I visited this restaurant with a friend for dinner and we really enjoyed it!PROS: - very cute location with nice exterior decor- far from everything so not very crowded- brought us a free appetizer- wine choice was good- schnitzel was cooked to perfection and so was the shrimp tagliatelle (though Italians may consider it a little over cooked)CONS: - 20 minute walk from the harbour with a bit of up hill - waiter wasnât professional in terms of judging our meal choice (when i chose the schnitzel he said it was a shame to choose that considering I was in Croatia) - worth noting that this an expensive restaurant I recommend this restaurant if you can afford it, enjoy well cooked food, want somewhere quiet/relaxing or romantic, and if you donât mind a little stroll from the main harbour.

My family stopped off here for pre-dinner drinks to celebrate my husbandâs birthday. The location was good, away from the crowds and down one of the many cobbled back streets in Hvar. The service was great, very friendly and unpretentious. We had different Croatian wines, both were excellent and came in 125ml glasses. Prices were a little high but you expect that in Hvar. Definitely worth a visit.

New restaurant, absolutely lovely owner and staff. Very modern and trendy fit out, was very refreshing to see and unique in an old historic town such as Hvar. The food was very modern, clean and super tasty! Absolutely loved the tuna tartar and Tacoâs... so yum!! Very friendly and helpful. Was nice to have some food different to the main Croatian cuisine. Wonderful!!!! Highly recommend. Try the pomegranate liqueur at the end of the meal, very tasty!

Can't rate this place highly enough. We visited on the first day it opened for the season but that didn't affect our experience at all. The service was incredible, including recommendations for some delicious wine (possibly the best we had whilst in the country!) And the food was really nice to match. Lovely atmosphere inside and overall really good value for money.

This a small restaurant on small street was one of our favorite dining experiences of our two weeks in Slovenia and Croatia. We had their traditional Croatian fish stew which was very good. Even better was the grilled sea bass, which was filleted and deboned table-side. The herbs and seasoning used made the dish fragrant and fragrant. The servers were both professional and fun. Igor, the owner, was very friendly. Because the restaurant is so small, reservations are recommended.

My husband and I ate here last night. We were lucky to walk in and get a table without booking. What a fantastic experience. Itâs all been said before but delicious , unusual food served by enthusiastic efficient, personable staff. Everything is described in detail as it is served to you. We left our fish course as it was served rare which is not to our taste. The waiter instantly spotted this and explained the reason for it being served in this way whilst offering to bring us another more cooked portion. We declined as it was due to our personal taste and no criticism of the cooking whatsoever. The starter and semi fredo desert were our favourite courses. Thank you for a wonderful meal in stunning Hvar! If we were here longer we would definitely return.

Really wonderful pasticada, and black gnocchi with shrimpâ plus a great salad and fantastic house white wineâserved by a group of nice, chatty, and very informative waiters in a pleasant space. Indoor seating keeps you away from smokers outside under the umbrellas so that you can enjoy the wonderful flavors. A complementary carob rajika aperitif and two rajikas to follow(sage and cherry) are a lovely and welcoming touch. Wish we were here longer to go back for more great food!

Nauta Restaurant is open for dinner from 18:00 to 24:00. Official opening - 01.06 For lunch 01.07.to01.09.from 12:00 to 14:30
Went to Nauta last night for dinner, and we loved it! For starters, we had the Nauta plate (excellent pršut), and after that, I ate the meat platter, and my partner grilled sea bass. Both were really good, the portions were big enough (actually so big that I couldn't finish mine - and I can usually eat quite a lot!), and the food arrived quite fast. Also, the young man who was serving us was super nice and polite, kudos for the service. As a cherry on top, we got some travarica on the house in the end. The ambient of the restaurant is also super nice and cozy. We'll definitely come back!
