Two days earlier I had booked a table for two, but when we came, it seemed that the whole place was occupied by a group of people having an organised banquete. The waiter took us to an improvised terrace which was also noisy and crowded with people having a private party. In a telephone conversation they had not mentioned that the place would be booked for the party. However, we simply thanked and left. I believe that the food there is a decent or an average quality, but the service is a disaster. This was not our only visit to Konoba Roko, but was definitely the last one.

This restaurant has one of the best chiefs in Bjelovar. I have visited this restaurant and was always happy with the service and food. Also it is a good choice for special occasions and celebrations. It is little bit out of the city but easy to reach by car.

On trip, heading to Zagreb, we needed a stop and have a meal with our children. Glamour was recommended to us by a local. It was just perfect. Spacious, efficient and friendly, with wifi. Tasty kebabs, pizza and pasta were perfect for us.

When visiting friends in Bjelovar, we have stayed in Vinarija Coner for the night. Most of the hotels in the Bjelovar centre were booked out but we also wanted some quiet place to stay at since we were travelling with 9-month old boy. I am happy we have chosen to stay here since room was big and comfy, very well equipped, quiet and with the most stunning view on vineyard and playground next to it. It was only pity that weather was not as kind (cloudy and rainy) but I guess owners were not able to help out with that. With everything else they have :)As for the restaurant, we were amazed by almost full home-made breakfast - home made bread, nice local cheese and smoked ham and so on. Restaurant is also kid-friendly - they have nice wooden feeding chairs for kids which made our breakfast so much easier, and there is even one very cool playing corner for the kids with toys. Stuff was very kind, helpful and professional. We have also learned that Vinarija has kinda small zoo with several animals but, unfortunately, they were supposed to arrive in week or two after our visit so we have missed that part. In short - for sure would recommend it as very nice gateway from city rush, nice meal, good vine and amazing service.
