Enjoy an adults-only dining experience with an ocean and pool view. International menu with nightly specials. Attentive wait staff in a luxurious and secluded dining environment. The ambiance is quiet, romantic and ideal for couples. Perfect to celebrate
The food is absolutely superb, and complemented with a highly attentive staff, a cozy and intimate ambiance, and a jaw-dropping view, makes this unique hidden gem one of the best restaurants in the country! Everythingâs fresh, immaculately prepared, and beautifully presented. For lunch, you just canât go wrong with their nachos, fish tacos, ahi tuna salad, or steak sandwich. And for dinner, make sure to get there early to watch the sunset over a couple of cocktails, and then enjoy their caribbean style seafood soup starter, followed by one of their freshly caught fish specialties. Highly recommended!Muchas gracias for sharing so many excellent recommendations of our dishes. We really appreciate it and hope you will return soon! Pura vida!

Chao Pescao really impressed on a recent visit! All three primary facets of a great dining experience- food, drinks and service- all really shone. On our first visit we chose our selections and were very happy, on our subsequent visits we took some recommendations from our server and were equally pleased.Chao Pescao is easily the most consistent choice on site at the Andaz.

We didn't actually dine in, but picked up some amazing mahi mahi steaks and jumbo prawns to bbq at our Air BnB. The quality was amazing, the price was right and the service was fantastic. We'd planned on a dinner stop one night, but after a long day at the beach, pulled the plug - very unfortunate, as it looked absolutely amazing! Definitely give this place a try when in town.

Robertoâs specializes in a variety of Costa Rican and American dishes. It is located on the beach in the beautiful La Gaviota Tropical Boutique B&B.
Our family was staying for a week at La Gaviota Tropical hotel, home of Roberto's wonderful Bar & Restaurant. While we enjoyed several excellent lunch and dinner meals, I found their Breakfast to be special. Beautiful beach-side setting, great variety, friendly service, and a great way to start the day.Hi.Thank you very much for your beautiful opinion, and thank you for making us part of your vacation. PURA VIDA.

Really liked this place. A lot of thought has gone into the design to get US sports bar meets beach bar meets upmarket marina into a coherent package. The food, drinks, presentation and setting are all great. The staff are very laid back and less effusive than anywhere else we went in CR. But it's very welcoming and relaxed. We were staying at the 4S. It's a 15 min drive. There is nothing you couldn't get by going to Bahia at the hotel but I much preferred the setting and the food quality, all at 35% off the 4S prices. No reservations, but no problem getting a table in August.

Nice place on the beach. Portion sizes are huge. I tried the lobster & filet (which was excellent). The mixed tropical drinks are just average. Prices and menu are typical for the area.

Father Rooster is the premier beachfront bar & restaurant on the northern Pacific coast of Costa Rica. The location and scenery combined with top quality (yet very simple) food and our famous frozen drinks makes Father Rooster a must see on your next visi
Our family of six had a fun time finding this place, and were glad we did. It's a great place to relax by the beach, have some tropical drinks and good food. We stayed around to watch the sun set on a huge rock between two islands off shore. The team of servers was very attentive. Our only complaint would be the constant battle to keep pesky flies off of our drinks and food.Hello Birdguy: Thank you for your review and for your business! I am very happy to hear that you enjoyed your time with us. I have watched many sunsets between the mountain and island in front of Father Rooster. It is quite a display. Glad you enjoyed the food and drinks. I wish that we had a better solution for the flies. They come on occasion and cover the entire region--generally when the winds are pushing out from the farmland over the ocean. It is pretty tough to keep them at bay. In any case, thanks again for your business and please come back again soon!
