I stayed in the hotel next door and went to the Pavillon for a quick dinner. The restaurant was almost empty which I notified all other evenings that I passed this restaurant. But because it was raining this evening I didn't want to go the the old center of Olten and gave it a try. They serve sushi, a few appetizers and a limited (4) wok dishes. I had shrimps and fried rice with vegetables. I was not impressed and could do my dinner from start to finish in 15 minutes.

Suchst Du eine Landbeiz mit gepflegter, ehrlicher Küche? Dann bist Du hier genau richtig. Schöne Gartenbeiz unter riesiger, alter Kastanie. Cordon-bleu sehr zu empfehlen. Im Herbst absoluter Geheimtipp für Wildliebhaber. Wild vom lokalen Wald, selbstgemachter Pfeffer und Chnöpfli etc. Immer frisch, saisonal und gutbürgerlich. Preis - Leistung unschlagbar. Wenn Du auf Nummer sicher gehen willst, umbedingt Tisch reservieren. Arnos Burger (hausgemacht) sind auch sehr zu empfehlen.

But you don't leave hungry. But you don't leave hungry. Very interesting combinations of various ingredients, but in only few meals. There is own free parking space behind the restaurant. The town itself is not worth mentioning, but one is surprised what kind of âcuisineâ could be found there. Wine cellar is very rich, there is something for everyone. Staff is very polite, almost painful. There are those cute hangers under the table for a ladyâs bag. Food is freshly made, but the best are the sweets at the end that come as the gift J
