I was a guest at this restaurant. My hosts said it was the best restaurant in Vitoria, that the food was sublime and told me about all the famous people who have eaten here. With such a build up you expect to be overwhelmed by the most fabulous food you have ever had the pleasure of eating. With such an introduction you will inevitably be disappointed. Everything was nicely presented, the food was good........but I have eaten better at my hosts house. Its certainly worth coming here, but be prepared not to be wowed. Maybe I just chose the wrong dish, but when I read the reviews after my meal I wondered if in fact I had eaten at the same place.Would I come back....yes, but this time without different expectations.

Probably the best buffet a kilo in Vitoria. Pity they dont have a bbq. Pity as well that their wines are too expensive and none by the glass.Thank you for your feedback and your suggestions. Unfortunately the barbecue is not viable in our available space. Regarding to the wine, we have to consider that most part of our customers doesnât have the habit to drink wine during the lunch time; this is the reason why it is not practicable to sell it by the glass. Sincerely, team Oliva.

A shop specializing in wines with more than 1300 labels, a cuisine specializing in comfort food.
Was it the food, the setting, or the company? probably a combination of the three. One of the most enjoyable evenings I have spent in Vitoria on this visit. My friends are always trying to find a restaurant that would impress us and this has certainly hit the spot. Brazilians seem to enjoy sitting indoors with the airconditioning set on high. We however like to sit outside and enjoy the view and breeze. The outside setting is lovely and reminded us of Italy. The food and wine excellent. The restaurant doubles as a wine shop with an amazing choice of wines at all prices. There is no pressure to buy the most expensive, and their knowledge was impressive. Of course if you prefer to sit indoors there are seats inside too, but then why would you want to do that with such a view. Excellent food at reasonable prices with generous portions. The staff were friendly and helpful. A must foodie destination.
