Venturing out for some hiking in Montseny National Park, for lunch I selected Restaurant Fonda in Montseny, and I wasn't disappointed.Located in the heart of the village this restaurant has some nice views from its terrace and its interior is quite rustic with an interesting intimate bar section (even showcasing some local sausages!)I was welcomed by a young waitress who was definitely born to be in the hospitality industry.....big smile, talkative (even a good level of English!) and efficient.The menu included mostly local Catalonian dishes both a la carte and a choice of two set menus. I selected the "Montseny Menu" which started with a salad with a selection of local cheeses, followed by a Montseny sausage with white beans (yummy) and as dessert (there was a selection of 9!) I selected strawberries.Food was very tasteful and simple straightforward in presentation, the way I expected it in this location and also the way I like it!Definitely a venue where I will return and also one recommended to those after a genuine Catalonian culinary experience in a good location and with friendly and efficient service

It is a very friendly place. Hard to describe because it gives a different feeling. Children are running wildly, continuous background noise. But the service is a good. The food was poor. The atmosphere a bit like a children playground in a poor district of Vic. The place can be described as a community center or something like this.Good afternoon Atesakinci! The restaurant had been closed for redecoration and we went on its reopening night. It got quite busy as the evening wore on but we only booked our table that afternoon.They only had menus in Catalan, but our waiter explained every course to us in Spanish. There are two degustacion menus: one at 42 euro and the other 68. Our choice, the smaller of the two, consisted of about 10 small courses, all immaculately presented and some with a certain amount of wit (I won't spoil the surprise!) which included a Japanese gyoza, cauliflower and anchovy teaser, chicken amuse bouche and various other delights. The service was very good and the place was absolutely immaculate, being located in a beautiful detached white building dating from 1928 and redecorated in neutral tones with a dark wooden floor. My only criticism is that the lighting was very bright - perfect for seeing the exquisite food before you but not if you want to gaze into the eyes of your beloved.

We went to Can Cames after nice reviews in Tripadvisor. The place is small and our first impression was that it was not going to be up to the expectations, but when the food started to arrive we quickly changed our minds. Nice food, nice service, nice wine and reasonable prices. Don't be scared by the first impression and give it a chance if you stop nearby.

An especially family site with an outstanding menu. An interesting menu with dishes that will surprise you. Chef Jordi hand and bond with the land and the product of proximity note.The flavors, smells and textures will flow through your mouth as if it were a party. Arbucias is not exactly a place you would expect to find a high quality, gastronomic tapas place. Mams offers a delightful combination of casual setting, wonderful and unusual tapas with high quality regional wines. All this and quite reasonable costs with excellent and well informed service. Well worth the visit if you are in the area.
