Things to do in Vanuatu
A delightful local style restaurant that suits westerners - right on the beach of the world acclaimed Port Olry beach. Excellent casual dining in a semi-outdoor natangora roofed room. The cuisine is all locally sourced - lobster from the rocks only metres
Wow. We arrived into Port Olry late at night - our bungalow owner (Stanislas Franck from Nokome Colleens Bungalows) had made arrangements for us to have access to the beachside restaurant next door (run by his cousin or brother). The blackboard menu stated lobster or coconut crab. I wasn't happy to eat coconut crab after reading about their scareness etc. and being kiwis, were VERY happy to eat lobster! A WHOLE lobster for each of us - 11 yr old couldn't eat an entire one so lucky Dad getting the leftovers. Cooked perfectly and with a devine creamy dressing - beautifully presented with lots of flair - see photos. Waves lapping on the beach only a few metres away - eating by candlelight, it was the perfect way for us to get into Vanuatu time. Food is organic in Vanuatu, so you can't beat having things so fresh. The next day the restaurant was full of day trippers - it looked like they served about 30 lobsters that day. At the time Peter was chef at the Restaurant, although we understood that he was opening his own restaurant in Luganville, so may have moved on.

The food is fresh and delicious and the prices are very reasonable compared to Vila. Very rustic setting, sand floor and tables and seats made from local timber slabs. Beautiful setting and very enjoyable.

Situated on the hilltop with superb views overlooking Erakor Lagoon and the resort's private island. Breakfast, buffet and a la carte dinners are served daily. There is an extensive wine list of imported wines from New Zealand and Australia.Winner of the
We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner here while staying here at the Holiday Inn Resort. Great meals and a good selection. Kids meals were good and large portions. The location up high, overlooking the Lagoon is great. If really hot, there is an Air conditioned areas as well if required. The upper entry area has a great bar area as well for drinks before hand.

This lovely Restaurant is located at Benjor Beach Club on the beautiful Mele Bay - only 12 mins from Port Vila. It has a huge outdoor deck with seating and tables to take in the beautiful ocean view and plenty of indoor seating also with great views. Th
We had lunch and dinner here several times during our stay at the resort, the food is OK but nothing special. Highlights were the steak, prawn curry and the vegetarian pasta, pizzas were OK. The happy hour beer/wine prices were great! If you're not staying at the resort I wouldn't recommend traveling there for the food as it is quite far out of Port Vila.Thank you for your positive comments. We are constantly upgrading both our menu and training and will take on board your review. Have a great Xmas and New Year!

Good food at a good price, Wood Fired Pizza Oven, Gourmet Burgers, Home Made Pasta's. We show all major sporting events on big screens TV's and are located opposite the Grand Hotel. The home to the Nambawan Brewery - Vanuatu's best range of Tap and Bottled
Recommend this venue for a casual and relatively inexpensive (for Port Vila) option. Good beer selection - daily specials - food was good and what would be expected of this venue and price point - and if it appeals you can watch sport - as it is essentially a sports bar with televised events on the various screens. The pizza specials for 1000vt seemed very popular and they also use a proper wood fire oven - so none of these frozen base type things you see served up around the place.

We were staying at the resort, so used the restaurant for breakfast every day, and most evening meals but lunch only once.Breakfast was amazing. We all loved the banana pancakes with maple syrup, asking for double serves with sides of bacon often the norm! They don't do a traditional buffet breakfast, rather you can choose from a range of continental offerings including cereals, toats, fruit and pastries with tea, coffee and juices from a buffet area. You then choose one main meal item from the menu - our favourites being the pancakes, yoghurt (kids) and the big fala breakfast.Dinner was amazing, with some great dishes on offer. We did not have a bad dinner during our stay - and recommend the seafood dishes as they cook it perfectly.Happy hour is between 5 and 6pm every day with 20% off drinks, and with young kids, this was often the time we would conveniently arrive. For the most part, the service was excellent. However on two occasions early in our 7-night stay, we had 1 or 2 meals forgotten and had to ask for them (one at dinner and one at breakfast).Annie is an amazing waitress and looks after your every need. You do not have to stay at the resort to enjoy this restaurant, justa short 5min boat ride from the Erakor jetty located next to the Warwick Le Legon resturant.

Firstly, the service was good and the staff did a great job. The setting is great and we appreciated the comfy chairs to relax in after our meal. We found the food was very expensive and tasteless. One of us had the green curry which was nothing like green curry, more watery than curry. Another had the prawn rissotto which was more like fried rice. The entree was 1200vtv for a few small pieces of polenta. We spent over $110AUD on 2 mains, 1 starter and 1 beer.

We are a Restaurant & Bar but we also cater for events and parties, we are open for Lunch, Dinner and all day Tapas 7 days a week. Our bar is open all day. We have two separate dining areas, one inside the main building and a more traditional wooden fare
Set on a hill overlooking the Port Vila harbour, went for our 10th wedding anniversary and weren't disappointed. Meals are five star with views to match. Staff are friendly and attentive. The briased beef cheeks and coconut prawns for mains were great. Entree the camarilised scallops. We recommended this restaurant to other tourists, who had the same view of this restauarant and happy we told them of it.Hi CarolineThank you for your 5 Star review of the Blue Marlin Club, delighted that you choose to spend your 10th Wedding anniversary with usThank you also for recommending us to others. We Look forward to welcoming you back on your next Visit to Port VilaCulinary RegardsMatt
