We travelled to Tobago for the first time in September and visited Bagoâs bar everyday of our 2 week holiday! From the moment we walked in we felt so welcome! Shirley was so friendly and kind along with her husband Bob. The atmosphere was always fabulous and we played some great games and met lots of lovely people. It is a perfect spot to go for a swim and wonderful to watch the sunset! The drinks were always perfect and Dominic the chef cooked us a beautiful dinner candlelit close to the ocean. It was delicious. We had so much fun with Shirley and Bob and cannot thank them enough for making our holiday one of the best to date. We enjoyed our stay that much in Tobago that we are returning in 37 days!! If you are in Tobago you must stop by Bagoâs

Canopy of stars, symphony of Nature ... and just one single table for two people---you and someone special (romantic, platonic or familial). More than simply "dining", Table for Two is a multi-dimensional creative and culinary experience for just you and
Arriving at the Arnos Vale EcoLodge which is one of the Table for Two venues was an adventure in itself. Arnos Vale climbs one of Tobagoâs many luscious hills bedecked in emerald green attire, glistening with diamond droplets of tropical rain. A steep hill incline with rustic paths our drivers task was complete when we reached the entrance to this unique dining location. Upon our arrival Elspeth introduced herself and her softly spoken words were soothing to our ears. A feeling of recognition rested easily on all three of us. This was going to be a night to remember. We were guided down a tropical path to two small cottages in candy coloured paint almost gingerbread in their appearance. Along a wooden deck our evening began. We were guided to our own personal dining space resplendent in its simplicity & vibrant colour. Local fabric tablecloths, low lighting and vanilla coloured shutters are sprung open by our host who politely asked if we are bothered by the wildlife. If this is the wild life then I am all for it! The fairytale aspect of this dining experience is not lost on us, we have arrived at Table for Two. A gentle explanation of the evenings events is given and the dining experience is explained. Letâs make no mistake - this is an experience and one I might add that we will cherish forever. 6 courses of vegetarian cuisine & neither of us are vegetarian. However, as the literature says postpone your preconceptions and be ready to take a journey of discovery. My husband and I are lovers, of Tobago, of good food & I like to think each other. But it is a rare bird that fluttered into our evening to remind us why we love each other, what makes our union so unique and why the universe really does have a plan for us both. Elspeth is not only a chef of quality, she has been given a gift & is happy to share it with us. I can truly say without doubt after 17 years of marriage, this was probably one of the most romantic & insightful evenings of our relationship. Truth, courage, love, abundance, peace, release. We were reminded are what make our own personal union unique. With respect for our evening, the rest is between our host & the stars above. As the rain hit the wooden roof, in the forest of its making and the tiny lights twinkled lighting our exit, Table for Two will forever remain our own little piece of personal heaven.Lots of love to you both! Thank you for a wonderful evening and treasured new connection.

The Pavilion Restaurant and Clubhouse Bar is located at Tobago's premier resort, The Villas at Stonehaven, close to Stonehaven Bay.The restaurant serves delicious Caribbean, Local and International cuisine prepared by internationally trained chefs. Casual
I was so looking forward to this dinner as I read great reviews on the internet. Donât let this fool you , both my husbandâs and mine meal were a complete disappointment. Very over priced for the quality of food served and these ppl donât even know the difference between a medium and a well done steak. The only compliment I can give was the manger noting that our chicken was terribly undercook and took it off the bill. Will never return.Nalini PThank you for visiting us at the Pavilion Restaurant recently and for your review.I am very sorry that your husband's chicken was under-cooked and the attempt by the kitchen to rectify the matter was clearly unsatisfactory and as a result I removed the charge from your bill. You did mention that you ordered a medium steak and it was cooked well done but as you mentioned to me this was not a problem, When I spoke with you, you had already consumed the steak. Normally our Chef would have been able to cook you another steak to the required temperature had you mentioned it to your server at the time.We hope that on your next visit to Tobago you will visit us again so that we can make amends for the shortcomings on your recent dining experience.Yours sincerelyFranklyn EatonGeneral Manager
