Teddington is on the north bank of the Thames, just after the start of a long meander, between Hampton Wick and Strawberry Hill, Twickenham. Mostly residential, it stretches from the Thames to Bushy Park with a long high street reaching down to pubs, restaurants, leisure premises, fields and fitness clubs by the riverside, having a pedestrian suspension bridge over the lowest non-tidal lock on the Thames, Teddington Lock. Teddington's centre is mid-rise urban development.

We enjoyed todayâs lunch offering whilst watching Three Dunkirk little ships returning to their 1940 starting point to await the opening of the Teddington lock. All were flying the White Ensign defaced with the arms of Dunkirk which is their unique privilege. To eat we had a variety of dishes soup, curry, sea bass, hot peach crumble and ice cream. All were very good and tasty. The surprise of the lunch though was the most magnificent dish of chips huge ones piping hot crisp on the outside and wonderfully fluffy and flowery in the inside.....the best ever !they put Mr Heston Blumenthalâs offerings in the shade. We sent a message to the chef to congratulate him we hope he got it.Ivory S

This is a newish venture which certainly deserves to succeed: charming service, impressive food (lamb, pork, padron peppers, croquetas, octopus all really good in tapas form), good wine list, very reasonably priced. We had a very enjoyable dinner and we would definitely return. A fine addition to the local dining scene.

Thank you for lovely party that you helped us with. It was great and everyone enjoyed the hospitality/food/drinks and all. Your staff is amazing and not sure magic you have done on them - all were doing the job as if it was their party and not just a job that they were doing - amazing motivated team that you have built. Food was great and cannot thank you for making this very special. You helped at every stage - getting DJ/Magician (which was a great hit), photographer and all. Thank you once again.
