We celebrated our 40th wedding Anniversary here on the last night of our stay at the Westin. What a view. The meal began with a small chicken empanada amuse bouche. Then a selection of breads. The wine list has affordable options. We both chose seafood. The local sea bass and risotto was delicious. As was the seafood pasta. We were surprised with an Anniversary dessert that was a sweet treat. Do not miss this five star restaurant.

This food was incredible. I felt like I was on one of those gourmet cooking shows where they specially plate all of your food and explain the how and what of it. I can't begin to describe the flavors and textures I experienced.The food was served family style so my sister and I shared everything. It was the perfect amount. On our first visit, we ate parrot fish, grilled watermelon, and corn followed by 2 desserts. On our second (yes, we went back rather than eating at our all inclusive hotel), we had short rib and greenbeans. It was incredible!The staff, the ambience, the flavors...We'd definitely go back!Thank you!You can come back anytime you want to, you're always welcome. I've been wanting to come to District for a long time and definitely was not disappointed!!! Over the course of a week I ate there about 4+ times and got to try almost everything on the menu. They provided me with amazing service and delicious food. I would suggest getting a little bit of everything as it is great to share in a group of friends or even just for two people. Bring your appetite; you'll want to order everything!Right now there is a Test Kitchen menu which features a selection of burgers. The "Purest" is better than an in-and-out burger and would highly recommend trying this one. Another couple favorites are the Ahi Tuna, District Greens and the Lettuce Wraps. There is a great selection of beers (the COLDEST in the Baja) and the house cocktails are amazing - try the Sangria; a favorite!Definitely head in for brunch on Saturday/Sunday. They have a great selection of items - the Benny's are really tasty & so are the Ceasre's (they taste just like home). The environment was fun and friendly, good for kids as well. On the weekend evenings, they have a DJ which makes for a fun and lively atmosphere. Outside, there is a patio with games including corn-hole. They have multiple TV screens which is ideal for watching sports.The restaurant has AC & fast WIFI. We went to this restaurant super excited at the reviews. The area, atmosohere, and drinks were superb. The wait staff were attentive and very nice. Spoke English and very well informed about food. The only thing was the food the night we went was super salty. The ribeye was not cooked to the right temperature and was over seasoned. I hate to even post this but I feel with some tips they can be excellent. This restaurant has everything, great seafood and wonderful Italiam, including the best chicken parmigiana ever, so tender. The clam chowder was hardy, hot, perfectly seasoned, and a meal in itself. The homemade bread was the perfect accompaniment. Two clams in open shells lay in the bottom of the bowl, alongside a sea of clams. I chose fish tacos, with a choice of blackened, panko or grilled. They were filled with corn, slaw, pico, sauce and generous amounts of fresh fish. Delicious! Great friendly service, too.
