Another visit to Avvia and as per usual the atmosphere, staff service and food was amazing. Not often do you find consistency of this kind I'm restaurants. Perhaps it's because they pride themselves on ensuring a dining "experience" above all else. Started with prawn dumplings, then we shared the lamb and prawn gnocchi. Finished with chocolate souffle. We accompanied our meal with a beautiful bottle of Syrah. Every dish was cooked to perfection. Do yourself a favour and give Avvia a visit.Meagan, thanks for leaving such a wonderful review. We had a special room (including setup time), really great service and excellent food (including gluten free and vegetarian choices). There was a river view until sunset and the vibe was great. After the birthday dinner, we moved to the live music area and enjoyed that as well.The only extra cost above standard prices was $2 a head for white table clothes.So glad to hear that you enjoyed your 50th celebrations in the Cove, it's a great space for enjoying a small intimate celebration.The water and sunset views sure are beautiful, great cocktails and live music would have made it a night to remember!We look forward to seeing you on your next visit!

5. Infinite Dessert and Cocktail Bar

I had been planning to try this for a while and chose to do it as part of a birthday celebration. The dining area was themed as cheap Halloween but the whole dining area looks like it was done on a tight budget and poorly styled. Our group mainly chose the tasting platter with the birthday person choosing the creme brûlée. The general consensus was that we couldnât be more disappointed. Not one of the desserts wowed us, all settled for mediocrity. An expensive and disappointing exercise, we couldnât wait to leave.
