Bistro 54 is a 50+ seater heritage cottage in Hunters Hill with a casual contemporary Australian feel. Nestled into the heart of the leafy, harbour-side suburb of Hunters Hill, Bistro 54 is all about community. Their philosophy is local Australian produce
We were a large group there for a special 0 birthday and were in a private room. The staff were very accommodating in helping with the planning of the night and also very helpful on the night. The food was full of flavour and everyone was happy with their choice. Service was very good. Street parking is available but best to get there before 7pm unless you want a longer walk to the restaurant as there are other diners in this area. Inside Bistro 54 is very pleasant - a nice ambience. Would definitely recommend.Hi Aussie Traveller50, Thanks for taking the time to review your dining experience. We are so pleased to hear that everyone enjoyed themselves at the birthday. We will pass on your kind words to the staff. We look forward to you visiting again Kind RegardsCaryn Medak

Due to contractual dispute with our landlords and severe building defects Whitefire Grill was forced to close its doors Our sincere apologies to all of our customers
Very tender S&P calamari starter and generous and tender pulled lamb and mash main. Other half enjoyed her scallop and prawn gnocchi main but felt her arancini entree would have been nicer if it was beef mince rather than mushroom. Enough wines by the glass for our liking and at typical prices. Good range of desserts.

Growing up on the Mekong Delta in a home often filled with simmering pots of pho broth and meals brimming with fresh ingredients, Chef Chris (formerly owner/head chef at Saigon Saigon, Hong Kong) together with old school friend Chef Dong with 20 years exp
Excellent food.Have had Pho & the meat was tender & the soup rich with complex flavours. On another occasion had the pork knuckle. Crispy crackling outside & nice flavour. A bit dry, however the accompanying sauce was spot on.We shared the knuckle for 2 which was a good idea, as we also had entree each & it was the right amount of food.Owner/Manager is very personable, warm & genuine.
