Love this place. The food is always great, served by friendly staff and the atmosphere is homely with a choice of three different areas, each with its own character. The real ale is always spot on, and most importantly, itâs dog friendly with water bowls and treats around.

Great flavours excellent presentation and an absolute pleasure to be in such a lovely building. Very warm and cosy and well designed. No stupid themed areas!! An excellent mealHi Howard-LiverpoolThank you for taking the time to review. We are pleased that you enjoyed your meal.
Visited here with a group of friends for the Xmas menu. There was a choice for all courses, all were deemed as very good with lovely flavours. Served efficiently by students, we were well looked after. The price for all courses was only £20.00. Well worth supporting this establishment.Plenty of car parking to the rear of the college.

The Craven Heifer is our favourite and most frequented place to eat going there on average once a week. The staff are exceptionally efficient and friendly and always greet us like friends. The food is superb. Admittedly Iâve had a few hiccups over the years but theyâve always been rectified immediately. We like the âspecials boardâ which the waitress brings to the table changes every time we go there. The choice is always that bit âdifferentâ but there is the regular lunchtime and the a la carte menus too. Other reviewers say the veg is raw but they probably like theirs soggy and tasteless. Our veg is always al dente and full of flavour which is how it should be. We look forward to our Wednesday trip to Kelbrook and of course, look forward to going again.
