Service exceptional, food delicious. Overall an enjoyable midweek celebration lunch with family. Add bottles of Brokenwood Sangiovese and Chardonnay for a lunch to remember. We will be back. Lamb shoulder was a hit as was the putw honeycomb with chocolate tart for dessert.

This fine dining restaurant offers carefully planned food and wine in a lovely atmosphere. Decor was great, service was efficient and food very delicious. It was a little overpriced but had lots of options. Though we stuck to the regular two course meal, there were options for one, three or even a five course vegan meal! Service was lovely, our waitress offered us a free glass of wine each as our dishes were running a bit late, however we hadn't even noticed... The experience was very pleasant.

Attended a weekend wine lunch at Muse which was sensational. The wine was outstanding from Lakes Folly and the service was very good. Being gluten free at a large event can be a challenge but the staff seamlessly served my meals with the group on my table so there was never any waiting. The food was delicious and thoughtfully prepared and paired with the wines. We enjoyed the set menu for the event including seafood, chicken and steak dishes that were full of flavour and presented beautifully. Looking forward to returning to this amazing restaurant which is in a beautiful setting and the building itself is a very impressive space with very high ceilings and a beautiful fire place.

EXP was recommended to us and it did not fail to impress all of us. This is a relatively small restraunt, with an exciting and innovative menu. There was 6 of us for dinner and between us tried most things on the menu all of which were delightful and delicious . There is a degustation menu with matching wines however we went off the menu utilizing the 2 or 3 course option.Dishes such as the Scallops and the Beef are absolutely outstanding, the myrtle gum ice cream desert fantastic. The restraunt decor is a little quirky, the service outstanding, friendly helpful and attentive. The wine list extensive and reasonably priced. EXP is highly recommended.

Hotel has been renovated beautifully & is so nice. Restaurant is more up market than the normal pub restaurant. The mushroom risotto whilst a small serve was one of the tastiest I have out. Pizza was nice with a lovely thin & crispy base. Service was 1st class.

We had booked the restaurant for dinner and our expectations were moderate. We had the 5 course degustation with matching wines. Each course was really tasty and the wines were matched perfectly. The wines were a great display of the hunter and gave us a great taste from multiple types of wines. The atmosphere was relaxed and trendy and had great Saturday night vibes. Will definitely return Hi Mikayla, thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed review of your dinning experience here at HQ. We are glad you were pleased with our degustation option with matching wines. Your message will be passed onto our chefs, and we would love to welcome you back in the near future.
