Strollers Restaurant is new to Great Yarmouth, opening in December 2016. The restaurant offers a unique dining experience in modern but tasteful and relaxed surroundings. The menu is constantly evolving to ensure a new dining experience on every visit.
My second visit but first for my husband, booked the valentines meal for the Friday the meal was amazing really beautifully presented and delicious. We shared a king prawn starter with various dips all served with warm bread and hummus, tarasmalata and balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Next l had the halibut with a cream and prawn sauce and my husband had the fillet steak. We then followed with chocolate fondant pudding and a lemon tart. Unfortunately we had no room left for the cheese and biscuits but had a cup of tea with a chocolate coated strawberry. The meal was really good value at £35 pp and the quality and quantity were perfect. Canât wait to return for Motherâs Day.

Well established, quirky bar and grill. BAR.FOOD.GOOD MOOD
Had a really nice meal from a difficult to choose from menu because of the great choice! Only downside was not being offered two cocktails under the 2-4-1 offer so ended up paying £6 for one instead of two. Looking forward to going back to try other meals. Love the decor particularly the pipework loo roll holders!Hi JulieThanks for a great review, we appreciate you taking the time to do so. Sorry about the mix up regarding the cocktails, we hope to see you again real soon.

Good quality food in a relaxed dining environment with fantastic views over the harbour.
There are not many decent restaurants in the Great Yarmouth area, but SW1 is quite acceptable if visiting the East Coast of Norfolk. Nothing special, although the staff are very good and the ambience pleasant. Food is above average for the area , so definitely worth a try.My wife and I have been a few times since my original Report in July 2017 and recently visited with two other members of the family. Unfortunately it was not a special experience. Scallops as a starter were well presented and quite tasty, while fish cakes were also very well received. Main courses went down well, but how the cod could be accompanied with Jersey Royals is beyond me. This is October and the 'Royals' finished many weeks ago !!! I would love to know where they came from.My original Report stated there were no Dessert Wines on the limited Wine List and after two years this has still not been rectified. Surely a couple of half bottles could be listed for those who appreciate a glass with the excellent Desserts on offer. We will continue to support SW1, but only because of the lack of superior restaurants in the area.

My other half had already treated me to a big weekend for my birthday before the actual day so I was somewhat surprised that on the actual day she also took me out to lunch. We had not previously eaten at Ambitions so I didn't know what to expect. The front of house staff were clearly nervous and unsure of themselves, hardly surprising given that they were all students. Nevertheless they did come over as polite and friendly. They were being helped out from time to time by tutors as it was still early in the year. The food was all well presented and nicely cooked. Canapés to start were dainty and tasty. The starters were generous and delicious. The soup before the main was enjoyable. The desserts provided a delightful finish to our meal. We ended our visit with a coffee and found that nearly two hours had gone by without us noticing. The standards are very high and any of the kitchen team could have been working in an ordinary restaurant already. I expect some of these students to go on to much higher levels.Thank you for your detailed review. This Thursday was the first restaurant service that the front of house students have been involved in, we were proud of the way they tackled the situation head on and during our feedback at end of evening they declared they had enjoyed the experience. We do hope we can welcome.e you back in the future.

The Copper Kitchen, bursting with warmth and character offers a place for the social buzz; a place to escape, chat and dine in hospitable surroundings. Tucked away just off the seafront this small restaurant and bar is for the over 13's. Serving some of y
Were guests at the hotel and had already planned to eat here so that we could relax and have a drink. The bar area is a nice relaxed place. The restaurant is quite small but tables are arranged well, not too cramped on space. The menu is limited on options, but we prefer a smaller menu as it usually means that items are cooked well as they have to stand up to many orders. We consider the prices to be at the highest of acceptable for this type of establishment. Everything was cooked and presented very well, meal for two with two starters, two mains, one desert and a bottle of wine was around £70.Wonderful! So pleased that you enjoyed your experience with us. Our menu is updated every month.Thank you for your kind words, Victoria
