The Terrasse is now under new ownership and the new young couple running La Terrasse have created an eating experience that clearly beats anything on offer locally. The Turbot main course is sublime and would sit comfortably in a Michelin starred restaurant. The food at La Terrasse is truly excellent and provides great value for money. Finally, the house white wine is one of the best whites I have experienced anywhere in Provence.Thanks for your words! They encourage us a lot. A brilliant fusion of worldwide food nestled in the small provence village of Pignans France.
This restaurant opened at Easter 2018 and is a must for lovers of tasty food at very reasonable prices. The menu changes regularly and is impressive every time for it's variety, tastiness and quality. Well done to the young owners, Enzo and Simone, a talented and professional couple.

We remembered the premises when this was Lou Paleisoun (now closed), and thought we should try the new establishment. Service was definitely friendly and attentive, but the verdict is patchy overall. The special medievales menu was very basic and could have hit the spot, but there were a number of issues. A bill of 90 euros for aperitifs, two mains, two desserts, carafe of rose, bottle of water and two coffees is steep for the following reasons: the huge entrecote was at least one third gristle, not good for 22 euros, and the colonel at 11 euros contained the cheapest tasting table vodka you could find in France. I fared much better: my octopus stew and risotto were very good in my main and the panne cotta with salted caramel was nice too...and big...even if it was served in a paper coffee cup. Unrefined overall, but with some definite good points. I wish the young people who have taken over every success.
