So - this is the second time here and somehow it's just gotten better. The family run hotel is simple but clean and has everything you'd wish for - what make it stand out is the restaurant. This is classical Italian fish based dining at it's best . From the moment you walk in the door and are greeted by Silvia ( the daughter) until you arrive in the restaurant , you are treated as a member of the family - Gerioni the chef ( and mother) came out to reception to discuss with me what I wanted to eat and what was in season, nothing was too much trouble! ,Once those decisions were made , Flavioni ( father ) the head waiter/sommelier delivered his wine of recommendation - trust me it was good! This is a restaurant that delivers exceptional food with a wine list that exceeds all expectations! Definitely going to make sure I enjoy this place every time I'm anywhere near!!!!!

We tried Doma for the first time this week. My daughters had the Bufala (pomodoro bio, mozzarella di bufala e basilico) and the Margherita (pomodoro bio e fiordilatte). I ordered one of their daily specials with fiordilatte, lardo âbradi e selvaggi,â fichi di ripalta, aceta balsamico (12 anni), cacciocavallo e basilico. The kidsâ pizzas were as expected. Mine was good but I could barely detect the balsamic. Besides the pizza, the girls had 2 gazzosas and I had a glass of wine. Bill was 47.50⬠which was a bit high. Finding a parking spot is tough!

We've booked a table for 6 people by The Fork app. We got a confirmation of our booking. Once arrived to Fano we have found no place reserved. As they informed us: they received full bookings by phone and forgot to block The Fork app. Completely unprofessional approach, especially that ourselves and our friends we came from differend directions, and the only reason we have dcided to meet in Fano was because we were sure about our reservation. An advice for the management of Osteria Pani e Pesci: if you are unable to manage any App to make a booking- keep going to receive only phone reservation. Apps made for booking are not used for an additional advertisement of your place but for bookings!
